Potop, de catre scriitorul Plinius. Biserica Sf. Mihail, Muzeul de Arheologie, Flea
Market (piata de vechituri), Targul Artistilor, Gradinile Yehashua.
Caesarea-Capitala Iudeei de pe timpul lui Isus.Se viziteaza ruinele Romane ale
orasului antic(amfiteatrul,Palatul lui Irod,aquaductul)-intregul sit a fost refacut in
ultimii ani prin donatia generoasa a familiei baronului de Rotchield(cca $10 mil).In
apropiere se afla terenulurile de Golf situate in zona rezidentiala a orasului Caesarea.
Zichron Yaacov-In December 1882 one hundred members of the Hovevei Zion
movement from Romania purchased land in Zichron Yaakov (then known as
Zammarin) with the intention of settling the land.In 1883 Baron Edmond James de
Rothschild decided to assist the remaining settlers.In 1885, following several
economic failures, the Baron helped establish the first winery in Israel, the Carmel-

Mizrahi winery.Today Zichron Yaakov is an important tourist attraction. In 2008

plans were announced to further develop the centre of the town from the
Midrahov through Derech HaYayyin, down towards the Carmel winery.

Rosh Hanikra- is in the northwestern corner of Israel, on the border of Israel and
Lebanon. The white chalk cliffs offer a spectacular panoramic view of Haifa Bay, the
hills of the Galilee and the Mediterranean.In ancient times, Rosh Hanikra was along
the trade route between the northern civilizations in Lebanon and Syria and the
southern ones in Palestine, Egypt and North Africa.The grottoes of Rosh Hanikra were
formed by the sea chipping awaw portions of the soft chalk rock over thousands of
years. In 1968, a tunnel was dug from the shore to the natural grottoes. The tunnel was
constructed slightly above the sea surface. It is 400 meters long and took two years to
complete. A cable car leads to the shoreline where visitors can explore the grottoes. It
is possible, though not advised, to swim in the grottoes, which are inhabited by bats,
loggerhead sea turtles, sea birds and other wildlife. The place is a part of the Achziv
Natural Reserve.

Safed-Tzfat-The ancient Galilean city is the highest city in Israel, and commands a
breathtaking view of the Galilee in the winter with its green mountains and the white snowcapped peak of Mount Hermon.
Safed is a picturesque city of spiritual people and artists, wrapped in mysticism and
mystery, and steeped in sacred atmosphere. Visitors to Safed sense the citys warm embrace
as they wander through its alleyways past charming stone houses with their artists studios
and workshops.Safed is one of the four holy cities in Israel. It has been a spiritual center
since the 1600s when it was the center of Kabbala (Jewish mysticism). The Kabbalist
mystics lived, studied, taught, and wrote in the city and many of the graves are objects of
veneration.Safed also has exciting museums that relate the citys history, luxurious hotels
that preserve its antique character, and a huge Crusader fortress. It also hosts numerous
festivals that are rich in color and atmosphere. To visit Safed - with the grapevines growing
up the arbors of its stone houses, the decorated iron gates, the beautiful panorama that is
visible from the verandas, and the winding cobblestone alleyways, is like strolling through a
painting. It is a city for vacationers and tourists, a city of artists and rabbis, history and

Moshav Dalton-is a moshav near Safed in northern Israel under the jurisdiction of Merom
HaGalil Regional Council. It was founded by immigrants from Tripoli in Libya in 1950
under the leadership of Hapoel Hamizrachi. On the grounds of the moshav is a tomb
ascribed to Rabbi Yosi Haglili and his son Yishmael. The economy is based on agriculture,
the Dalton winery and a guesthouse.Been recently visited by Madonna,who is a great fun of
this place.

Morosanu in 1977),unde in altarul mic si intunecos se aude susurul izvorului Sfintei
Marii.

MAREA MOARTA (The DEAD SEA)-Despre aceasta se spune ca este cel mai jos
punct al planetei (400 metri sub nivelul marii),loc unic in lume avand acesta
caracteristica. Din cauza continutului ridicat de sare (30%), in ea nu traiesc nici plante,
nici animale.Apa sarata te mentine la suprafata,si este o experienta unica sa
"plutesti"(to float) pe Marea Moarta.Noroiul depus pe fundul acestei Mari are proprietati
unice si este extrem de benefic pielii noastre.
Timp liber pt.o Experienta Unica de baie in Mare,relaxare si cumparaturi ale
faimoaselor, in lumea intreaga, Produse Cosmetice de la Marea Moarta.
Massada-una dintre cele mai spectaculoase fortarete construite de Irod in jurul anului
30 i.H, pe malul Marii Moarte. Romanii au cucerit cu greu aceasta cetate in anul 73. Se
spune ca inainte de asediu toti locuitorii din Massada si-au luat viata pentru a nu cadea
in mainile invadatorilor.Se urca cu tele-cabina sus pe munte,la locul site-ului. Se face

turul Cetatii: ruinele fostelor Palate al lui Irod,Sinagoga,Poarta Sarpelui,rampa Romana

de atac,rezervoarele de apa si cereale etc.
Qumran-locul unde au fost descoperite celebrele Manuscrise de la Marea Moarta.
Ein Gedi-Rezervatia Naturala din Muntii si Desertul Iudeei,unde David s-a ascuns de
Saul si loc de inspiratie pentru imparatul David,care a scris minunatii Psalmi. Daca
timpul permite se viziteaza si Kibbutz-ul Ein Gedi.
