The target population of this study are from early adolescents (13-16 years old) and late adolescents (aged 19-22 years old). These are nursing students from second year college of Adventist University of the Philippines, enrolled during the school year 2014-2015. The duration of this study will last for 2 months in the campus of Adventist University of the Philippines. The sample size is pretermined because it is focused on the Level II students during summer classes. The researchers discerned the limitations that might have influenced the study. There are factors during data gathering that might affect the result of the study. As part of the limitation, the researchers had little control over the conditions of the available room where students were having their classes, to the behavior of the teachers, and to the behavior of the students themselves. The respondents nationality and cultural background were not controlled during the data gathering as well. In addition, the instruments rely on adapted questionnaires which the researchers have no control over. The study will show academic performance of level II nursing students. Study habits such as reading, writing and note-taking were the only variables that were considered to affect the academic performance of level 2 nursing students.
