Difractia
Difractia
1. Introducere

Difractia 2D : rezultatul trecerii unei unde plane printr-o deschidere patrata se gaseste in
figura urmatoare (Wikipedia)
4. Difractia Fresnel
difractia in camp apropiat).
in doua zone succesive pana-n punctul P este λ/2. Asadar contributiile a doua zone succesive
egale, daca ne situam in domeniul amintit λ<< r0, R.
englezeste)
Inceput
Show that areas of different Fresnel zones are almost equal. Hint: the area of a spherical zone is
given by the following argument (from Mathematica):

This result is somewhat surprising since it depends only on the height of the zone, not its vertical
position with respect to the sphere
The result is: S 2Rh , where R is the radius of the wave-front sphere and h is the
height of the zone. Let's compute the area of the spherical cap with height h=OA and radius
j AQ containing j zones (actually j-1 zones and the cap) (see e.g.
