Câteva lucruri de notat despre Paida;
A Few Things to Note about Paida 1. Avoid directing an electric fan or air conditioner at yourself
during Paida, so as not to catch cold and chills via your open pores. 2. Drink warm water before
and after Paida. Warm ginger and date soup is recommended. (Boil ginger slices and red dates
for 15-20 minutes. You may add some brown sugar.) In addition to helping you stay hydrated,
this will also prevent dizziness, fatigue and boost metabolism. 3. Avoid showers or baths within
one hour after Paida. After one hour, be sure to shower or bathe with warm water and not cold
water. On a cold day, it is best to avoid showering after Paida.

2. Beți apă caldă înainte și după Paida. Se recomandă o supă caldă de

ghimbir și o dată.A fierbi

3. Avoid showers or baths within one hour after Paida. After one hour, be sure to
shower or bathe with warm water and not cold water. On a cold day, it is best to avoid
showering after Paida. 4. Those with skin diseases (such as psoriasis) are advised to do
prolonged, heavy Paida for best effect. Secretion of liquid(s) is a sign of its effectiveness,
so it is important to continue Paida. Do not Paida open wounds. 5. People with diabetes
are less tolerant of the pain of Paida, so Paida lightly in the beginning and gradually
increase intensity. Those with varicose veins and edema in the legs are advised to Paida
in an upward direction to improve blood circulation. 6. When Sha appears, it is
important to continue Paida to speed up the elimination of toxins from the body.
Reactions such as rashes usually go away in a few days — this is normally so for those
with good physical conditions such as children, young and healthy people. The elderly
and the severely sick usually experience recovery reactions for a longer period of time.

Do
nu Paiana deschise răni.
reproductiv si urinar, etc: Paida baza coapsei tale unde există o

acupuntele folosite in acupunctura:

Can I self-heal bad breath by practicing PaidaLajin?
Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 No Comments

Yes. And many people have succeeded. Bad breath is a

manifestation of something wrong with the internal organs,
particularly disharmony between the spleen and stomach.
You can practice Lajin on a bench, with sandbags on each leg;
slap the universal regions (elbows, knees, hands and feet),
and then along the four limbs for 20 minutes per part each
time
Da.

How can I get a Lajin bench?

Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 No Comments

You can buy one from us or one of our Worldwide Contacts

(See Contact Us).

Or, you can DIY your own Lajin bench. A simple way is to
attach a long pole to your bed, desk or coffee table. This is
only a makeshift bench, though. It’s best to practice Lajin on a
standard bench. The following dimensions are for your
reference, and you can make adjustments according to the
needs, height, and weight of the user(s): bench length 120cm,
bench width 55cm, bench height 55cm, pole length 170cm,
pole width 8cm, pole thickness 3cm. For better effect, use
sandbags or other weights on the legs when stretching on the
bench.
Which of the Lajin postures is most suitable for me?
Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 No Comments

Of the seven Lajin postures we have recommended, Lajin in

reclining posture (best on a Lajin bench) delivers the most
comprehensive effects. You can practice it to prevent and
self-heal almost all illnesses.

For other postures, choose according to your specific

condition. If you have shoulder problems, you can practice
Lajin in standing posture; if you have eye and neck problems,
you can practice neck Lajin, and sleep on a hard surface
without a pillow; if you have leg and foot problems, you can
do Lajin on a stand board; if you have difficulty squatting
down, you can practice Lajin in squatting posture; if you have
period pain, or problems with the liver, spleen and kidneys,
you can practice Lajin in Y-shape posture more often.

Paida is “noisy” to others. What should I do?

Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 No Comments
Paida does produce sounds, sometimes too loud and
annoying for people who do not yet know or appreciate it.
One way is to Paida when they are not there. You can find a
proper time and place to Paida alone or with other Paida
friends. Or you can use fists and/or tools to reduce the
“noise” of Paida, which we call “music”. When the
atmosphere is right and they are ready to listen, explain to
them the benefits of Paida and invite them to join you.
Respect their choice. It can take time for some people to
accept Paida. A lot of people who initially have doubts and
fear about (the pain of) Paida have come to enjoy and benefit
from it.
Can I slap on my hips?
Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 No Comments

Yes. Many people sit a lot and the buttocks bear much of the
body weight. A lot of wastes and toxins are accumulated
there. The Urinary Bladder Meridian (one of the biggest
detoxification channels in the body), Gall Bladder Meridian
and other important meridians go through the buttocks.
Meridian blockages at this region can lead to obesity,
diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, lower back pain,
prostate disorders, gynecological disorders, stomach,
intestine and reproductive problems, etc. When you slap on
the hips, much toxic waste can be expelled in the form of
colorful Sha.
Da.

Can I Paida on the breasts?

Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 No Comments

Yes. Nine main meridians go through the breasts. Paida on

the breasts helps to self-heal breast hyperplasia and breast
cancer, as well as many common illnesses, such as
depression, heart disease, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism,
ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, and so on. In addition, it
contributes to natural breast enhancement and overall
beauty

Is it Okay to Paida the head?

Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 No Comments

Of course! At our workshop, each morning we spend over an

hour slapping on the head and face together, including top,
left, right, front and back sides of the head, neck, forehead,
cheeks, eyes, ears, mouth, etc. You can do the same yourself.
Go gradually from soft to heavier slaps.

Regular Paida on the head and face improves the health of

the eyes and ears. It is particularly good for Alzheimer’s
patients. Moreover, regular practice lifts the spirit, prevents
stroke and hair loss, preserves and improves hair and facial
color. Insomnia, migraine and other related illness will be
also gradually self-healed. People who Paida the head
regularly have grown new hair where it was bald

Will Sha re-enter circulation and lead to stroke and

heart attack?
Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 No Comments

No.
Many people are puzzled by the disappearance of Sha after
Paida. Some doctors who have never practiced Paida
themselves use their imagination to explain it, and intimidate
patients to stop Paida, saying that the Sha will re-enter blood
circulation and could lead to stroke or heart attack. This is
sheer ignorance and prejudice. Detoxification through
PaidaLajin is not just physical cleaning. First, Qi is gathered
at the stimulated area; it will then decompose toxic waste in
the blood and fluids into tiny particles of Sha that can be
excreted easily. This means that the physical and chemical
properties of the toxic waste have been changed. In other
words, Sha is toxic waste filtered out of unhealthy blood, it
will only be excreted through various channels, and will not
re-enter healthy blood. This is the magical design of the
Creator. This is the magic of our self-healing mechanism.

Skin is the largest detox channel for Sha is, for there are
countless pores on it. Each pore is constantly “breathing”,
just like the nostrils. The Yang energy activated by PaidaLajin
decomposes Sha into tiny particles invisible to the naked eye.
As they are much smaller than the pores, they can get
through the pores and evaporate into the air. Sweat, odors,
lumps, rashes, and itchiness are signs of detoxification
through the skin. In addition, all the orifices, including the
mouth, nostrils, eyes, ears, urethra and anus, are
detoxification channels. And burping, vomiting, sweating,
running nose, tears, earwax, farting, urine and stool are all
signs of detoxification. These are also called “healing
reactions”. In a word, all excretions are toxins and wastes
removed from the body.

Gradual fading and disappearance of Sha is not a process

where the toxins are absorbed into the body; instead, it is a
process where toxic waste, i.e. Sha, is eliminated through the
above-mentioned channels. Without the biochemical
reactions induced by PaidaLajin, these toxins will not be
filtered out in the form of Sha; instead, they will continue to
stagnate Qi and blood flow and form pathogenic substances.
PaidaLajin boosts Qi to decompose and detoxify these toxins.
During PaidaLajin, a person’s body odor, smell of sweat,
smell and color of urine and stool will get stronger than
usual. And it is normal to feel tired and experience various
healing reactions, for Sha formation and removal consume
energy.
According to Western medicine, Sha produced during Paida
is “poisoned blood” removed from blood vessels; it lies in the
interstitial spaces under the skin. The interstitial blood is
identified as alien substance by phagocytes and lymphocytes,
and is thus decomposed and excreted through breathing,
sweating, urination and other channels. When phagocytes
and lymphocytes are functioning normally, Sha is
decomposed quickly and fades away faster, otherwise it will
take more time. Regular Paida enhances the immune
functions of these cells, helping the body to efficiently
remove pathological substances.

Modern medical science has found that the process of

removing harmful alien substances can enhance the
functions of the immune system, stimulate generation of
many stem cells in vivo and removal of necrotic and dead
cells, and improve the body’s capacity to cope with stress and
repair damaged tissues. Paida not only instantly improves
circulation and clears meridian blockages, the process of Sha
elimination is in effect a DIY serum antigen therapy, which
makes the use of injections unnecessary. It can improve the
body’s ability to remove alien substances and enhance
immunity. This is an additional benefit of Paida, also known
as an “after-effect” of Paida.

Chinese medicine has a clear explanation: Sha is Yin energy

accumulated in the body. Paida brings Sha to the surface, and
further Paida warms up the slapped area and then the entire
body, i.e. it stimulates the Yang energy to rise. The more pain
is felt during Paida, the faster the body warms up. Diseases
are cured when Yin energy is neutralized by the rising Yang
energy.

Whether the Qi Movement Theory and the Yin-Yang

Interaction Theory in Chinese medicine, or the cell, immunity
and other theories in Western medicine, they are but limited
knowledge that humans use in their attempts to decipher the
unfathomable self-healing mechanism embedded in us. To
truly uncover the secret of self-healing, you need to engage in
actual practice and feel it in your heart.
timpul PaidaLajin, mirosul corpului unei persoane, mirosul

Medicina chineză are o explicație clară: Sha este energia Yin

Are blood vessels broken when Sha appears?
Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 1 Comment

Appearance of Sha during Paida often makes people, even

some TCM doctors, suspicious and even scared. They assume
that Sha is blood from ruptured blood vessels, and that it is
harmful to health. This is misinformation.

Our blood vessels behave somewhat like a rubber hose:

When the hose is free of blockages, slapping or pressing it
makes the water in it flow to low pressure areas. Without
toxins stagnating the flow in blood vessels, during Paida,
clean blood will flow from the slapped area to other areas.
This explains why there is little or no Sha in healthy people
or healthy parts of the body. Sha is toxic waste filtered out of
the blood and bodily fluids. Otherwise, it continues to exist in
the body, causing stagnation, forming harmful, pathogenic
substances, such as fat, phlegm, masses, tumors, dampness,
etc.

Blood vessel walls are a tight, mesh-like structure. Toxic

waste makes the blood dense and highly viscous,
substantially slowing down its flow. When slapping on a
stagnated area with toxins, Sha will be filtered out after a
series of biochemical reactions between the toxins and the Qi
boosted through Paida. Sha is highly viscous, some forms of
Sha are almost solid, and do not slip away easily when
pressured. Paida exerts pressure on the blood vessels,
forcing the mesh openings to expand, and the Sha continues

biochemical reactions with the boosted Qi and becomes tiny
particles that can come out easily. Some particles go out
through the skin pores like dust in the air; some are taken
out in sweat, tears and nasal discharge; most are excreted in
urine and stool. Repeated slaps on the skin makes more and
more Sha cling onto the walls. Toxins are thus expelled in the
form of Sha without rupturing blood vessels.

Some people are not convinced, and they go to the hospital to

try various tests. The result is that their blood vessels are not
broken. You can have a try: Paida until Sha appears; continue
slapping the same area long and hard enough, and in about 1-
2 hour(s), the Sha will disappear on the spot. Some people
not only tried the entire Paida process, they also took
pictures of Sha emergence, Sha getting darker, Sha getting
darkest, Sha fading in color, and finally disappearance of Sha.
Now, you can try it yourself.

In very rare cases, Paida may cause capillaries under the skin
to rupture. If the palm used for Paida has sticky fluids or
traces of blood on it, then the skin and capillaries have
indeed ruptured. This, however, is a great sign indicating
better healing effect. Normally, healthy skin does not get
broken during Paida. When capillaries rupture, the skin at
that area needs to be broken in order to be healed, i.e. “no
destruction, no construction”. This is better detoxification,
for old injuries, cold-dampness, and deeply buried toxins are
surfaced and expelled. This is very much like “blood-letting”
therapy used by major ethnic groups around the world.
Where there is bleeding, Paida is killing two birds with one
stone, i.e. you get the benefits of both Paida and blood-letting
therapies.

I have encountered many bleeding cases during Paida

sessions. A man with severe heart problems had black Sha on
his inner elbow during the first Paida session. Blood seeped
out from the Sha, and he immediately felt his chest tightness
relieved. His blood pressure dropped soon afterwards; in
another man, after a few moments of Paida, the area along
the Pericardium Meridian on his inner elbow turned purplish
black. His chest tightness was relieved shortly after
continued Paida and the palm used for Paida was covered
with blood. His chronic heart disease was greatly improved
afterwards, and other symptoms including headache, chest
pain and irregular heartbeat all disappeared; there was
another person who liked to slap for others. I had him slap
my shoulder with great force so as to experience heavy
Paida. At the end of the session, on his palm where the
Pericardium Meridian runs, a large bloody blister had
developed, and in a short while, many symptoms of his heart
disease significantly improved, and much of the dark color on
his face and lips also faded.
a pieptului.
interior, deveni negru purpuriu.

For eczema, psoriasis and other skin diseases, and bites by

toxic insects and animals, it is better efficacy and faster
detoxification when the affected areas are slapped until
blood and sticky fluids are excreted. For patients with
hypertension and heart disease, if you slap until the skin
breaks and blood seeps out, it works faster at reducing blood
pressure and relieving headache, chest tightness, irregular
heartbeat, etc. Many people with similar diseases have
experienced these effects of Paida.

When the skin is broken, and blood and fluids seep out, the
best thing to do at this point is to do nothing. No worry of
inflammation. You can continue to slap for a while to get rid
of some more toxic blood and fluids. Soon it will stop
bleeding, then scab will form and new healthy skin will grow.
These diseases can be thoroughly self-healed with prolonged
Paida for multiple sessions.

Moreover, when using the hands for Paida, the hands are
being slapped as well. It is an extra gift when Sha, cracks,
water or blood blisters appear on the hands. They will
subside and heal without any particular treatment.

Many people are scared at the rough skin when it is broken

once or several times during Paida sessions. This is a healing
reaction. Continue PaidaLajin and eventually the skin will
become smoother and more delicate than before. Some
people even experience local or systemic skin peeling. Of
course it is a good sign—a free, natural skin resurfacing
treatment. There have been many testimonials of people
having more delicate skin thanks to persistent Paida.

How long and how hard should I Paida?

Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 No Comments

Generally speaking, the pain and intensity of Paida should be

within the recipient’s or self-healer’s tolerance. There needs
to be moderate pain of Paida, otherwise it will not work. Slap
a body region for 5-60 minutes each time. To relieve severe
symptoms, slap longer and more times.

Slapping for up to five minutes is considered effective Paida.

There will be little effect if the Paida is too gentle, produces
no pain or does not last long enough, for the self-healing
mechanism is not yet fully activated. During our 7-day
PaidaLajin self-healing workshop, each day the participants
slap for approximately six hours, and stretch for about one
hour, and by the end of the workshop, they will have briefly
slapped all major parts of the body. It takes up to 15 days to
complete a round of more thorough Paida all over the body.
The workshop activities are a super-strong stimulation to the
self-healing mechanism, and almost all pains and diseases
will improve greatly. Back home, it is impossible to slap and
stretch so hard and for so long. You can adjust the duration
and intensity of PaidaLajin according to your health
condition and other factors. Normally, practice PaidaLajin for
1-3 hours a day. For a very sick patient or someone with
plenty of time, extend the duration and increase the intensity
of PaidaLajin.

For health preservation, Paida the entire head and the

universal regions for 0.5-1 hour each day; To relieve and heal
common diseases, Paida the universal regions and illness-
related areas for 1-3 hour(s); For a seriously ill patient, the
entire body needs to be slapped multiple rounds before
gradual recovery. It’s best to attend a workshop, for
PaidaLajin self-healing method is no talk show. Only by
experiencing the indelible self-help and mutual Paida can you
systematically learn the techniques, duration and intensity,
and feel the power of the “Heart” in the self-healing process.
Up to now, we have not found a better way for people to
learn and benefit from PaidaLajin than attending a
workshop.

For a sick person who cannot attend a workshop and slap

that long, Paida 1-3 regions for about one hour each day. The
duration of Lajin is not included. Many people cannot spare
the time for PaidaLajin; however, they have time for games,
sports and dining. Well, this shows that people do not attach
the same importance to their health.

The following recommendations on Paida duration and

intensity are for your reference. You can adjust them
according to your health condition and schedule.

1. Paida a body region thoroughly before moving on to the

next one. For instance, an inner elbow, the top of the head,
the front side of a knee, the inner or outer side of a knee, etc.,
each is a “body region”. Paida each region for 5-60 minutes.

2. Thorough Paida: Paida until the most Sha comes out of the
slapped area; and with continued Paida, no more Sha
appears, it does not hurt much, or the Sha is beginning to
fade away, the skin is broken and blood or bodily fluid is
seeping out.

3. When slapping on a large region, focus on an area the size

of a palm and slap for 5-60 minutes. Then move the palm or
Paida stick to the next area.

4. For body parts that can be easily slapped by oneself, it’s

better to do self-help Paida; for body parts where self-help
Paida is inconvenient, try Paida each other. During Paida, use
hands and Paida stick(s) alternately. Use a Paida stick when
you feel tired or when Sha does not come out easily. In cold
weather, use a Paida stick to slap without removing clothes.
5. Do not stop half way during Paida. It’s best to slap a body
part thoroughly. When the Sha disappears, start a second
round of Paida.

bine. Când Sha dispare, începe oa doua rundă de Paida
6. Some people self-heal after a round of thorough Paida all
over the body. However, many patients need multiple rounds
of “carpet-bombing” Paida before full recovery. Adjust the
area and frequency of Paida to suit personal needs.

7. Some people have slapped all over the body; however, the
healing effect is not as good as slapping universal regions or
other specific regions, for the pain and intensity of Paida are
not enough. It is better effect when doing Paida and 1-3 Lajin
session(s) per day. Some people do Lajin without the
standard Lajin bench or sandbags, or they put down the
raised leg when they feel sore, numb, painful, and swelling
sensations, and the efficacy is discounted; with the same
duration of Lajin, it is better effect when you stretch on a
standard Lajin bench, use 5-20kg sandbags, and continue
stretching after feeling these sensations.

8. Gentle Paida is also effective, as long as there is moderate

pain. However, it takes longer, for instance, you can slap one
region for 30-120 minutes

How does Paida work?

Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 No Comments

1. The skin is closely linked to the meridians system, limbs,

internal organs and nine orifices (eyes, ears, nostrils, mouth,
urethra and anus) of the body. Paida is an all-round
activation of the slapped skin, the underlying muscles, bones,
meridians, tendons, ligaments, blood vessels, nervous and
other cells, and all systems of the body.
2. The slapped area automatically gathers more Qi and blood.
Qi propels blood flow. Paida improves Qi and blood
circulation. The enhanced Qi acts as a cleaner—it
automatically scans all over the body, identifies meridian
blockages and removes them. All the harmful wastes, toxins,
tumors, etc. will be gradually swept out of the body.

3. Paida boosts the power of the “Heart” and the confidence

in self-healing.

4. From the perspective of Western medicine, Paida is

proactive “sabotage” that stimulates the central nervous
system (CNS) to mobilize the energy, blood, various
secretions, and the nervous, immune, and lymphatic systems
to repair the damage, thus enhancing the body’s self-repair
capacity and immunity
Cum acționează Paida?
Post By Pailala Institute 7 aprilie 2016 No Comments
1. Pielea este strâns legată de sistemul meridianelor,
membrelor, organelor interne și nouă orificii (ochi, urechi,
nări, gură, uretra și anus) ale corpului. Paida este o activare
totală a pielii pălmuite, a mușchilor subiacenți, a oaselor, a
meridianelor, a tendoanelor, a ligamentelor, a vaselor de
sânge, a celulelor nervoase și a altor celule și a tuturor
sistemelor corpului.
corp.

FAQS

What is Paida?
Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 No Comments

Paida (拍打; pinyin: pāi da): To use hands and/or tools to

slap repeatedly on a part of the body or the entire body at an
acceptable intensity, in order to enhance Qi (energy),
manifest and remove meridian blockages (toxins and wastes
that induce diseases and various symptoms), thus self-
healing happens naturally.
Paida is also the most ancient natural diagnostic method. As
pains and diseases are clearly manifested as Sha and other
symptoms, in ancient China, the therapy was not called
Paida, but “Diao Shang”, i.e., revealing and then healing
injuries and diseases. If a person has no illness, no Sha or
other healing reactions will appear during Paida.
Cum acționează Paida?
Post By Pailala Institute 7 aprilie 2016 No Comments
1. Pielea este strâns legată de sistemul meridianelor,
membrelor, organelor interne și nouă orificii (ochi, urechi,
nări, gură, uretra și anus) ale corpului. Paida este o activare
totală a pielii pălmuită, a subiecților mușchilor, a oaselor, a
meridianelor, a tendoanelor, a ligamentelor, a vaselor de
sânge, a celulelor nervoase și a altor celule și a tuturor
sistemelor corpului.

vindecare.
4. Din perspectiva medicinei occidentale, Paida este un
"sabotaj" care stimuleaza sistemul nervos central (SNC) sa
mobilizeze energia, sangele, diferite secretii si sistemul
nervos, imunitar si luminos pentru a repara daunele, sporind
astfel capacitatea de autoreparare si imunitate a
organismului

Sha and self-healing

[:en]What is Sha?
Sha (痧; pinyin: shā): Toxic waste in the blood and bodily fluids that appears beneath the skin
during Paida. It comes in shades of pink, crimson, purple, purplish black, black, etc. When the
amount of Sha reaches a peak, it will gradually fade away with continued Paida. Lumps, red
swelling, and white powder on the skin are also different forms of Sha.
Sha is a word unique to the Chinese language. It literally means “toxic sands and little stones”.
Ancient Chinese called them “blood stones”, i.e., pathogenic substances similar to gall bladder
stones and kidney stones. Establishing its occurrence and coining the term “Sha”, as well as
using it to diagnose and treat diseases, is a perfect case demonstrating the wisdom of ancient
Chinese.

In the scientific language, Sha refers to tiny toxic particles that are processed and filtered from
harmful substances in the blood and bodily fluids, when the Yang energy boosted through
PaidaLajin scans the entire body and induces biochemical reactions with various substances in
the body. Pushed by Qi, these particles are excreted through the orifices. Sha can be excreted
through skin pores as tiny solid particles, or in the sweat, tears, nasal discharge, urine, stool, and
so on.
Four types of toxins in Sha

1. Toxins from environmental forces such as wind, heat, cold, and dampness.

2. Toxins from diseases.

3. Toxins from prolonged medication and fabricated, processed foods. Chemical odors expelled
during Paida are evidences of detoxification.

4. Toxins produced by negative mindset and emotions. These are far more toxic than the impact
of drug toxins and external forces, and are the main causes of illness.

Paida the skin forces toxic waste in the blood to cling to and go through blood vessel walls, and
colourful patches of Sha will appear beneath the skin. With the same intensity of Paida, Sha does
not appear on healthy parts of the body, but will only surface on those parts or acupoints with
existing and latent illnesses.

Self-diagnosis according to colours of Sha

The general principles in self-diagnosis according to colours of Sha are as follows:

Sha appears only where diseases are present; the amount of Sha surfaced indicates the severity
of diseases; the darker the Sha colours, the more severe the pathogenic elements (toxic waste,
excessive cold, heat, dampness, etc.) are in the body.
Sometimes, lumps and red swelling may appear along with Sha. Regardless of the disease name,
when pains are relieved and Sha is surfaced and decomposed through PaidaLajin, the self-
healing method has taken effect. Sha does not appear the way and the amount we expect it.
Heavy Paida on a healthy person does not force out much Sha; gentle Paida on a sick person
easily gets Sha out.
The colours of Sha have the following implications:

1. Flushed skin: healthy, normal;

2. Red: “wind-heat”; common in people of “sub-health” condition;
3. Purplish red: “stagnant heat”, prone to soreness;
4. Blue: “phlegm-dampness”, prone to fatigue;
5. Purplish black: stagnation and inflammation, indicating that toxins have accumulated in the
body and that the meridians are heavily blocked;
6. Black: appearing mostly in those with chronic or critical illnesses, or those under prolonged
medication;

1. Pielea spălată: sănătoasă, normală;
2. roșu: "vânt-căldură"; comună la persoanele cu afecțiune "sub-sănătății";
3. Roșu purpuriu: "căldură stagnantă", predispusă la durere;
4. albastru: "flegma-umezeală", predispus la oboseală;
în organism și că meridianele sunt puternic blocate;
medicamente prelungite;
7. Colourful Sha and reddish swelling skin: severe blockages. The swelling, similar to
the appearance of Sha, is a good detoxifying reaction.
PaidaLajin is diagnosis and treatment at the same time. Whatever its colour, Sha signals health
problems and indicates that detoxification and treatment are under way—excessive heat, cold,
dampness, and toxic waste in related organs are being expelled.
1. Where there is Sha, there is a health problem. The more severely blocked the meridians are,
the faster Sha appears (sometimes in less than one minute of Paida) and the darker its colours
are. However, Sha is not the only self-diagnostic criterion; pain is a more accurate signal. Having
pain but no Sha also reveals health problems, for “no pains, no blockages”.
2. Some Sha travels in the body. This indicates that Qi and blood flow is being regulated and that
Paida produces a lasting effect in boosting Qi and blood circulation.
3. Some people may have red Sha at first, and with continued Paida, darker spots, lines or
patches of Sha will appear, and in severe cases even dark, hard lumps will emerge; in some
cases, especially among the seriously ill, Sha may not come out easily because the Qi is weak and
fails to stimulate blood circulation; some people do not have sufficient Qi and blood, but they
have rough skin and thick flesh where toxins are buried deep within, so it is quite hard to get
Sha out. In such cases, Paida hard and long enough, and for multiple times before Sha can be
gradually drawn out.
4. In some people, Sha may cease to emerge after a few Paida sessions, but can re-appear after
some time. This indicates that the self-healing power has its own agenda and mechanism. When,
where and how much Sha appears do not follow a person’s willpower. Sometimes, try as you
may, no Sha will come out; at other times, Sha will surface unexpectedly. It also shows that a
person’s health condition is constantly changing, and that in the tug-of-war with Qi, toxins are
changing and moving around in the body.
5. If Sha appears only when you are receiving Paida by others, but not when you are slapping
yourself, then self-help Paida is too gentle and the duration is too short for it to take effect.
6. When you fall sick, you will have Sha where it previously did not, and Paida hurts more.
Where there is little Sha, intense Paida or Paida by others can get out more Sha. These are good
healing reactions, where diseases and injuries are brought to the surface to be uprooted.
7. The colour of Sha can turn lighter, turn yellow, or have a paler wave-like shade soon after it
appears or on the following day. It can also spread to surrounding areas. These are all normal
reactions, indicating that the self-healing mechanism is regulating Qi and blood circulation at the
affected body tissues.

are propria sa agendă și mecanism.

BASIC CONCEPTS

Body parts for Paida

[:en]
Paida universal regionS
Theoretically, all parts of the body can be slapped. Normally, Paida follows a top-down
sequence.
When sick, a person will want to know which meridians are blocked. There are 14
meridians in the body—12 standard meridians, and the Ren and Du Meridians along the
central front and back of the torso. All illnesses originate from blockade of the 14 meridians,
whether mosquito bites or tumors, insomnia or constipation. Normally, multiple meridians
are blocked in a sick person. Unblocking these 14 meridians cures it all, doesn’t it?
However, many people do not have enough time to slap all over the body. They tend to look
for key areas related to their illnesses for Paida. To make it simple and improve efficacy, we
recommend slapping the head and four “universal regions”, which basically cover all 14
meridians in the

body.
The four universal regions are as follows: elbows (front and back sides), knees (front, back,
left and right sides), hands (front and back sides) and feet (top, bottom, left and right sides),
eight in total.
When slapping elbows or knees, all areas including front, back, left and right sides are to be
slapped thoroughly; The best way to Paida the back of a hand is to place one hand on a knee,
and Paida the back of that hand and fingers with the palm of the other hand; When Paida
the feet, it is necessary to slap thoroughly the inner and outer sides of the ankles, and the
tops and soles of the feet. To heal faster, slap each area for 15 minutes or more. Make it a
habit and slap at least one universal region each day.
Paida the head

After slapping the universal regions thoroughly, go on to Paida the entire head, including
the top, left, right, front and back sides of the head, neck, eyes (closed), cheeks, nose, mouth,
and ears. Slapping the entire head helps to relieve all chronic diseases, particularly effective
for healing headache, insomnia, diseases with the five-sense organs, cardiovascular disease
and Alzheimer’s disease. This is because all Yang meridians corresponding to internal
organs go up to the head. For instance, Liver opens into the eyes; Kidney opens into the
ears; Lung opens into the nose; Spleen opens into the mouth; Heart opens into the tongue.
Thus slapping the entire head also heals disorders of the internal organs.
Paida “weak corners” and the entire body
The armpits, the groins, the inner elbows and the popliteal fossa (the back of knees) are
dubbed as “eight weak corners” in Huang Di Nei Jing. They are mostly likely to accumulate
cold-dampness, toxins and wastes. Clearing these areas is a “shortcut” in self-healing pains
and diseases. But the armpits and the groins are not included in the “universal regions for
Paida”, for they are less convenient to slap and it hurts more. People may reject Paida
altogether if they feel too much pain during their initial taste of Paida. However, at our
workshops, these are key targets of Paida.
After thoroughly slapping the head and universal regions, it’s best to also slap the armpits
and the groins. Then go on to slap the entire four limbs, chest, back, abdomen, buttocks, i.e.,
“carpet bomb” the entire body.[:zh]

Deblocarea acestor 14 meridiane le vindecă totul, nu-i așa?

din față, din spate, din stânga și din dreapta, trebuie să fie pliate bine;

Paida capul
deschide în ochi; Rinichii se deschid în urechi; Lung se deschide în nas;

corp. [: Zh

Paida universal regions

Theoretically, all parts of the body can be slapped. Normally,

Paida follows a top-down sequence.
When sick, a person will want to know which meridians are
blocked. There are 14 meridians in the body—12 standard
meridians, and the Ren and Du Meridians along the central
front and back of the torso. All illnesses originate from
blockade of the 14 meridians, whether mosquito bites or
tumors, insomnia or constipation. Normally, multiple
meridians are blocked in a sick person. Unblocking these 14
meridians cures it all, doesn’t it?

However, many people do not have enough time to slap all

over the body. They tend to look for key areas related to their
illnesses for Paida. To make it simple and improve efficacy,
we recommend slapping the head and four “universal
regions”, which basically cover all 14 meridians in the body.

The four universal regions are as follows: elbows (front and

back sides), knees (front, back, left and right sides), hands
(front and back sides) and feet (top, bottom, left and right
sides), eight in total.

When slapping elbows or knees, all areas including front,

back, left and right sides are to be slapped thoroughly; The
best way to Paida the back of a hand is to place one hand on a
knee, and Paida the back of that hand and fingers with the
palm of the other hand; When Paida the feet, it is necessary
to slap thoroughly the inner and outer sides of the ankles,
and the tops and soles of the feet. To heal faster, slap each
area for 15 minutes or more. Make it a habit and slap at least
one universal region each day.

Paida the head

After slapping the universal regions thoroughly, go on to Paida the

entire head, including the top, left, right, front and back sides of the
head, neck, eyes (closed), cheeks, nose, mouth, and ears. Slapping the
entire head helps to relieve all chronic diseases, particularly effective
for healing headache, insomnia, diseases with the five-sense organs,
cardiovascular disease and Alzheimer’s disease. This is because all Yang
meridians corresponding to internal organs go up to the head. For
instance, Liver opens into the eyes; Kidney opens into the ears; Lung
opens into the nose; Spleen opens into the mouth; Heart opens into the
tongue. Thus slapping the entire head also heals disorders of the
internal organs.

Paida “weak corners” and the entire body

The armpits, the groins, the inner elbows and the popliteal
fossa (the back of knees) are dubbed as “eight weak corners”
in Huang Di Nei Jing. They are mostly likely to accumulate
cold-dampness, toxins and wastes. Clearing these areas is a
“shortcut” in self-healing pains and diseases. But the armpits
and the groins are not included in the “universal regions for
Paida”, for they are less convenient to slap and it hurts more.
People may reject Paida altogether if they feel too much pain
during their initial taste of Paida. However, at our
workshops, these are key targets of Paida.
After thoroughly slapping the head and universal regions, it’s
best to also slap the armpits and the groins. Then go on to
slap the entire four limbs, chest, back, abdomen, buttocks,
i.e., “carpet bomb” the entire body.

How to deal with healing reactions during
PaidaLajin?
Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 No Comments
[:en]Everyone who self-heals with PaidaLajin inevitably experiences some healing reactions,
including the most common sensations of pain, soreness and swelling. These reactions are good
signs of recovery. The general law is: The stronger the healing reactions are, the more accurate
the diagnosis is, and the better the self-healing effects are.
Normally, diseases and their symptoms will temporarily worsen during PaidaLajin, for instance,
hypertensive patients may have higher blood pressure, diabetics may have higher blood sugar,
patients with various pains may feel greater pain, etc. The more diseases you have, the more
healing reactions you could experience during Paidalajin. These are all good signs. There is no
need to panic. Instead, you should feel lucky and be grateful.

The healing reactions that each of us experiences is different, due to age, physical condition and
other factors. Even for people with the same disease, they could have different healing reactions.
This is because all diseases are complex ones, and behind a disease with a particular name are
more known and unknown diseases. As a result, the healing reactions that different people
experience are not comparable.
Whatever healing reactions a person has, the top priority is to protect the heart, for according to
Chinese medicine, Heart is the King in charge of everything pertaining to our wellbeing. The first
measure for dealing with most healing reactions is to slap on the inner elbows and Neiguan
acupoint, for the Heart, Pericardium and Lung Meridians run through these areas and important
acupoints along these meridians are located there.

(1) Common healing reactions include pain, chills, cramps, hunger, fatigue, nausea, vomiting,
dizziness, insomnia, itchiness, etc. And the most severe ones are dizziness and coma. When these
symptoms appear, slap on the inner elbows and Neiguan acupoint. In severe cases, slap heavily.
If the symptoms are not yet relieved, slap all along the inner side of each arm. When someone is
in a coma, two people can simultaneously slap on the patient’s inner elbows and Neiguan
acupoint on both arms.
(2) Cramps: Slap on the inner elbows, the back of feet, at and around the affected areas.
(3) Stomach ache, tummy ache and nausea: Slap on Zusanli acupoint, inner elbows, Neiguan
acupoint, and the back of hands.
(4) Headache: Slap on the affected area and the entire head, the back of hands, inner elbows and
Neiguan acupoint.
(5) Gall bladder pain: Slap along the Gall Bladder Meridian on the outer side of each leg, inner
elbows and Neiguan acupoint.
6) Itchiness: Slap on the affected areas, inner side of each knee, inner elbows and Neiguan
acupoint.
These Paida measures produce better effect when the patient also stretches on a Lajin bench.
For other healing reactions not mentioned here, please go to Classroom – Downloads – Files to
download Using PaidaLajin for Urgent Symptoms in your chosen language and refer to it.
When you experience healing reactions during PaidaLajin practice, it is best to eat less or go
fasting. This way, most of the self-healing energy activated by PaidaLajin can be used to burn
wastes and toxins in the body and turn them into treasure, producing energy that the body
needs. Otherwise, the energy will be used to digest the food. The result can be more loss than
gain.
When you experience healing reactions, and feel weak and fatigued, you can drink some ginger
and jujube tea (cut ginger into slices, add over a dozen red jujubes and boil them in water for 20-
30 minutes. Add some brown sugar when the tea is ready) to nourish Qi and blood. Please
remember, drink it when it is warm.[:zh]

Post By Pailala Institute 7 aprilie 2016 No Comments
află acupoints importante de-a lungul acestor meridiane.
(1) Reacțiile frecvente de vindecare includ durere, frisoane, crampe, foamete,
oboseală, greață, vărsături, amețeală, insomnie, mâncărime etc. Și cele mai grave
sunt amețeli și comă. Când apar aceste simptome, palmează coatele interioare și
acupointul Neiguan.

Healing reactions according to TCM
Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 No Comments
[:en]Healing crisis: A sign of recovery from a major illness
This is an excerpt from an article by Mr. Liu Xiyan, a researcher of Traditional Chinese Medicine
(TCM). To have a grave, chronic illness cured, the patient could feel worse symptoms and other
discomforts after taking Chinese medicine, i.e. he/she will experience healing crises before full
recovery.
If you are very sick or have been sick for long, and have never experienced a healing crisis after
taking much Chinese medicine, then most likely your illness will not be cured, for you are not
treated by a genuine TCM doctor; if you are a TCM doctor and have given countless
prescriptions to your patients, but none of them have felt any healing reactions, then you will
most likely think that Chinese medicine indeed works slowly, for you are not a genuine TCM
doctor.
The concept of healing crisis first appeared in ancient Chinese classic Shangshu over two
millennia ago. In the section On Life, it says, “A grave, chronic illness will not be cured if no
healing crisis is felt after medication.” Later Chinese texts explained that healing crises refer to
discomforts felt during treatment.
In his book Shang Han Lun (also known as Discussion of Cold-Induced Disorders), Zhang
Zhongjing, revered as Sage of Chinese Medicine, included several entries on healing crisis.
For instance:
“After medication, the symptoms will be slightly relieved, and the patient will feel dizzy and
restless. In severe cases, the nose will bleed. After nose-bleeding, the illness will be cured.”
“After taking three prescriptions of Chinese medicine, the patient will feel dizzy and listless. Do
not panic. White atractylodes rhizome and monkshood (Chinese medicinal herbs) are taking
effect beneath the skin and haven’t fully driven out dampness.”
“After taking Chai Hu Tang (a Chinese medicinal soup with Radix Bupleuri as the main
ingredient), the patient will tremble and then have warm sweats. After that comes recovery.”
Dr. Hu Xishu (1898-1984, a renowned TCM doctor in contemporary China) repeatedly stressed
that a patient could easily experience healing crises after taking Chai Hu Tang. Specifically, the
patient could shiver with chills and then sweat a lot.
Dr. Hu said, “If a patient is not weak, there won’t be healing reactions. And after these reactions,
the disease will soon be cured.”
Dr. Hu cautioned doctors and patients to be aware of this healing cycle. He himself had been
woken up at midnight because of a patient’s healing crisis. The diarrhea patient was a child, and
after drinking Dr. Hu’s prescribed medicine, the diarrhea became even worse. His family
members knocked on Dr. Hu’s door at midnight, insisting that he should go and see the child.
When Dr. Hu arrived there, the child’s condition was already much improved.
Then Dr. Hu said, “Give the child the medicinal soup again.”
Initially, the child’s mother was afraid to do so. But after drinking the soup, the child got fully
recovered the next day.
In case of healing crises, the doctor needs to stand firm and should not easily change the
prescription. And the doctor needs to explain it clearly to the patient; otherwise, if the patient is
scared at the healing reactions and go for emergency treatment, all the efforts will be wasted.

Healing crises are detox reactions or recovery responses during disease treatment. When the
medicine is fighting off a disease, positive and negative energies in the body are engaged in the
fight. Various discomforts can appear. When the positive energy is winning the battle, the
negative energy will gradually recede. For patients with a grave, chronic illness, it is very likely
for them to experience healing crises, which are signs of improvement leading to recovery.

Healing crises can last for a while or several days. Some healing reactions are mild, and some are
very severe. The forms and severity of healing crises vary from person to person. The sicker and
weaker a patient is, and the longer the disease has been, the more likely the patient is to
experience strong healing reactions after taking the right medicine.
In my clinical practice, I have encountered such healing crises as rashes, sweating, dizziness,
drowsiness, diarrhea, dry mouth, stomach ache, stomach bloating, etc. Sometimes, soon after a
patient with stomach ache takes Da Chai Hu Tang or Danggui Shaoyao San (whose main
ingredients are Angelica sinensis and Chinese herbaceous peony), the stomach can hurt more.
Other patients could cough harder after taking medicine, but will feel better afterwards. It is
another healing crisis.
Antibiotics are mostly cold in nature. When they enter a patient’s body along with much fluid
(water itself is cold in nature), it could make the patient even colder. People who have had
infusions should know it from their personal experience: Whether fever, coughing or
inflammation of the tonsils, you will feel much better when you have infusion. But after a few
days’ treatment, your body can be too weak and cold. Genuine TCM doctors treat such diseases
by resuming the Yang energy in the patient’s body. This is the only way to change the very
nature of the cold-induced diseases.
I believe that the real hope for Chinese medicine does not depend on more and more drugs or
prescriptions. These have never been lacking in the history of Chinese medicine. Nor does it rely
on more and more TCM doctors and clinics. In a sense, the real sign of hope for Chinese medicine
is this: More and more patients experience healing crises after taking Chinese medicine; and
more and more TCM doctors have patients who feel healing reactions.

Mr. Hongchi Xiao’s Comment:

You see, this article helps to explain why PaidaLajin is so effective. Isn’t it a sign of hope for
Chinese medicine? If you practice PaidaLajin diligently, you are bound to experience healing
crises, i.e. healing reactions. Why did the late TCM master Li Ke support the promotion of
PaidaLajin? Mostly because of the healing crises and self-healing effects. When Dr. Li Ke himself
used medicine to treat patients, they would soon feel healing crises.

During one of my seminars in Switzerland, I met with a number of Swiss TCM doctors who used
medicinal herbs to boost Yang energy in patients. They loved PaidaLajin. And I told them, “Both
Paida and Lajin help boost Yang energy. The only difference is, we are not using ginger, cassia
twig or monkshood (medicinal herbs hot in nature), but the ‘medicine’ produced in the human
body.”
What is the core function of PaidaLajin? To boost Yang energy.[:zh]

Healing crisis: A sign of recovery from a major illness

This is an excerpt from an article by Mr. Liu Xiyan, a

researcher of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). To have a
grave, chronic illness cured, the patient could feel worse
symptoms and other discomforts after taking Chinese
medicine, i.e. he/she will experience healing crises before full
recovery.

If you are very sick or have been sick for long, and have never
experienced a healing crisis after taking much Chinese
medicine, then most likely your illness will not be cured, for
you are not treated by a genuine TCM doctor; if you are a
TCM doctor and have given countless prescriptions to your
patients, but none of them have felt any healing reactions,
then you will most likely think that Chinese medicine indeed
works slowly, for you are not a genuine TCM doctor.

The concept of healing crisis first appeared in ancient

Chinese classic Shangshu over two millennia ago. In the
section On Life, it says, “A grave, chronic illness will not be
cured if no healing crisis is felt after medication.” Later
Chinese texts explained that healing crises refer to
discomforts felt during treatment.

In his book Shang Han Lun (also known as Discussion of Cold-

Induced Disorders), Zhang Zhongjing, revered as Sage of
Chinese Medicine, included several entries on healing crisis.

For instance:

“After medication, the symptoms will be slightly relieved, and

the patient will feel dizzy and restless. In severe cases, the nose
will bleed. After nose-bleeding, the illness will be cured.”

“After taking three prescriptions of Chinese medicine, the

patient will feel dizzy and listless. Do not panic. White
atractylodes rhizome and monkshood (Chinese medicinal
herbs) are taking effect beneath the skin and haven’t fully
driven out dampness.”
“After taking Chai Hu Tang (a Chinese medicinal soup with
Radix Bupleuri as the main ingredient), the patient will
tremble and then have warm sweats. After that comes
recovery.”

Dr. Hu Xishu (1898-1984, a renowned TCM doctor in

contemporary China) repeatedly stressed that a patient
could easily experience healing crises after taking Chai Hu
Tang. Specifically, the patient could shiver with chills and
then sweat a lot.

Dr. Hu said, “If a patient is not weak, there won’t be healing

reactions. And after these reactions, the disease will soon be
cured.”

Dr. Hu cautioned doctors and patients to be aware of this

healing cycle. He himself had been woken up at midnight
because of a patient’s healing crisis. The diarrhea patient was
a child, and after drinking Dr. Hu’s prescribed medicine, the
diarrhea became even worse. His family members knocked
on Dr. Hu’s door at midnight, insisting that he should go and
see the child. When Dr. Hu arrived there, the child’s condition
was already much improved.

Then Dr. Hu said, “Give the child the medicinal soup again.”

Initially, the child’s mother was afraid to do so. But after

drinking the soup, the child got fully recovered the next day.
In case of healing crises, the doctor needs to stand firm and
should not easily change the prescription. And the doctor
needs to explain it clearly to the patient; otherwise, if the
patient is scared at the healing reactions and go for
emergency treatment, all the efforts will be wasted.

“Carpet bombing” and “anti-virus

mechanism”
Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 No Comments
[:en]Originally a military term, “carpet bombing” refers to thorough bombing of each and every
inch of a target. Practicing PaidaLajin in a “carpet bombing” manner—slapping the entire body
from head to toe, and doing Lajin in reclining posture, gradually stretching each leg up to 30
minutes—clears the body’s 14 main meridians from all directions. This eliminates all known and
unknown diseases holistically, instead of treating each of them according to divisions of
medicine.
PaidaLajin helps to both diagnose and heal diseases: In Paida, Sha, swelling and pain are great
reactions, indicating that meridians running along the slapped areas are blocked, and that
detoxification is in process. Those afraid of the Sha, swelling and pain of Paida mistake the
reward for punishment; In Lajin, the pain felt during stretching indicates contraction of tendons
and ligaments, and blockages in meridians. Continued stretching will restore the flexibility of
tendons and ligaments, unblock the blocked meridians and heal diseases.

The term “anti-virus mechanism” is used to enable people of the modern age familiar with
computers to grasp the concept of self-healing power. Our body has an innate, invisible anti-
virus mechanism, just like an anti-virus software in a computer. The meridians system in
Chinese medicine, and the various systems in Western medicine, such as immune, nervous,
respiratory, and circulatory systems, are all parts of the body’s anti-virus mechanism.

The invisible can be more crucial than the visible. For instance, the sun and the moon are visible,
but the orbits they travel and the forces that drive them are invisible. Chinese medicine believes
that Qi propels blood flow. Blood is visible; whereas Qi, the driving force behind blood flow, is
invisible to the naked eye. Now, modern scientific devices have detected the “invisible” Qi and
meridians in the human body.

The wisdom, sensitivity and sophistication of man’s self-healing power go beyond our
knowledge and imagination. Even the best life scientists and medical professionals are still
trying to scratch its surface. It runs in the body’s meridians in the form of invisible Qi. Once this
anti-virus mechanism is activated through PaidaLajin, it will start to scan the entire body. When
Qi finds a blockage or a problem area, it will lock-in the target and fix it. Pains and diseases are
thus relieved and self-healed. This process is as if launching missiles in “precision bombing”, or
Precise Point Positioning using GPS.

The number of meridians cleared through “carpet bombing” PaidaLajin is not one but many; the
effect is not only localized but in all known and unknown systems of the body. The activated Qi
and blood flow will act as the anti-virus software. Not only does it detect the “viruses”, it
stimulates the body to produce antibodies against them. Practicing PaidaLajin is like an all-
round mobilization of software and hardware systems in the body. This is why it is described as
“carpet bombing” and “complete virus removal”.

What PaidaLajin does is to dredge meridians. Once the blockages are removed, Qi and blood will
flow normally. Moreover, by practicing PaidaLajin, Yang energy rises and Yin energy falls. Here,
Yang (simplified Chinese: 阳; traditional Chinese: 陽; pinyin: yáng) is the same as the character
in the Chinese words for the sun—Tai Yang (simplified Chinese: 太阳; traditional Chinese: 太陽;
pinyin: tài yang). It is the original energy in the universe; it is the Zheng-Qi described in Huang
Di Nei Jing; and it is the first breath of air that was blown into man according to Genesis, the Old
Testament of the Bible. It plays a vital role in a person’s health. According to Huang Di Nei Jing,
the way to maintain good health is to “keep Zheng-Qi (Yang energy, positive energy) inside, and
evils shall not enter”. It sums up the true essence of healing in Chinese medicine.
From the perspective of Western medicine, the self-inflicted, minimal “damage” produced by
PaidaLajin stimulates the body’s immune system to secrete stem cells, insulin, enkephalin,
adrenaline and other hormones needed to fight different diseases.
People are used to treating a disease as an isolated phenomenon, and can be easily misled by the
disease name. They only want to get rid of a disease or a symptom without being otherwise
bothered. Well, this is not the way to cure diseases.
What should be done then? Remember the analogy of anti-virus mechanism and practice carpet
bombing PaidaLajin. The human body is an integral whole, and disease treatment should be
holistic.
Which meridian normally hurts the most when stretching on a Lajin bench? The Urinary Bladder
Meridian, isn’t it? There is an important acupoint located behind each knee. It gets blocked quite
easily and it hurts a lot when being stimulated. The Urinary Bladder Meridian runs from head to
toe, and is the largest detoxification channel in our body. Dredging this meridian cures
numerous diseases, such as lower back and leg pains, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, liver
problems, kidney disorders, prostate disorders, gynecological disorders, cancer and so on. This
is because the Urinary Bladder Meridian links the head, neck, back, waist and legs. It is
connected to all internal organs hanging inside the torso along the spine, and forms a web of
meridians system with the Spleen, Liver and Kidney Meridians and other main meridians.
When stretching on a Lajin bench, some people can neither straighten the raised leg, nor can
they make the lowered leg touch the ground. They feel excruciating pain while stretching. This
indicates problems with the Urinary Bladder, Liver, Spleen, and Kidney Meridians and with all
internal organs. There are three Yin meridians (Liver, Spleen, and Kidney Meridians) along the
inner side of each leg. Once these three meridians are cleared of blockages, diabetes,
hypertension, prostate and gynecological disorders will all be cured.
Some people like to slap along the Gall Bladder Meridian on the outer side of each leg. It is
equally important to slap the inner side. Slapping the inner side of the legs and doing Lajin in
reclining posture deliver the most visible benefits for elderly men who suffer from prostate
disorders, whose main symptoms are urgent, frequent, and incomplete urination. Over 90% of
the elderly men have prostate problems. For a woman, slapping the inner side of the legs and
doing Lajin in reclining posture help relieve almost all gynecological disorders.
“Carpet bombing” Paida will be more thorough detoxification. For instance, slapping all around
the limbs (focusing on one region until Sha appears, and continuing Paida until Sha disappears)
will be even better. Slapping thoroughly from head to toe, including the head, neck, face, eyes,
ears, nose, mouth, breasts, armpits, groins, belly, buttocks, the back, and the entire spine, etc.
brings even more amazing healing effect.
As the self-healing power works like an anti-virus software, it can detect, diagnose and heal
diseases. Why is this “software” so powerful? Because it is not man-made—it is designed and
embedded in us by the Creator.[:zh]

Complex diseases
Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 No Comments
[:en]It relates to “ignore-the-disease-name” concept. People seldom have only one illness; there
are always a greater number of health risks and unknown diseases behind known ones.
Moreover, these diseases are interrelated, and the symptoms are causes and effects of each
other. All known and unknown diseases and symptoms put together are called “complex
diseases”.
In effect, all diseases are complex. Even such common ailments as cold, fever and coughing are
complex diseases. They relate to the immune system, which is in turn related to the heart, lungs,
liver, spleen and kidneys. Chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, liver
and kidney disorders, cancer, etc. are without doubt complex diseases, i.e. they are
manifestations of the malfunctioning of all internal organs.
Since diseases are invariably complex, we should not focus merely on treating known diseases
and symptoms, but should turn our attention to the underlying causes. This explains why we
keep reminding people to “ignore the disease name”. We should holistically empower our self-
healing mechanism to do its job, for it is the self-healing power, not anything else, that heals all
known and unknown diseases. The effect of holistic healing goes beyond that of
compartmentalized treatments, for all cells, organs and systems in our body form an integral
whole, and they thrive or wither together.
The best way is to have a thorough search, diagnosis and treatment of diseases. No therapy or
drug in the world is a panacea for all known and unknown diseases. There are many natural,
holistic therapies out there. And we have specially chosen Paida and Lajin to promote
worldwide. It is not only because they are simple to practice and produce quick, amazing effects,
but also because they do not target a specific disease or symptom, but activate our innate self-
healing power, which diagnoses and treats all diseases in the body. That is to say, from diagnosis
to treatment, Paida and Lajin function holistically. This explains why Paida and Lajin are so
effective in healing complex, chronic diseases.
Complex diseases may appear complicated, but the fundamental cause is meridian blockage.
Unblocking the blockages heals. And the beauty of Paida and Lajin is that they can rapidly and
effectively unblock the blockages in the meridians system (a network of energy channels).
People may find it hard to accurately locate meridians and acupoints (also called “acupuncture
points”, i.e. important points along meridians stimulated for disease prevention, diagnosis and
treatment), much more so if they need to utilize complicated knowledge, drugs, equipment, and
procedures—that is why many tend to give up on self-healing. For ordinary people without
specialized training in medicine, PaidaLajin is the best basic healing practice, and it can be an
advanced therapy that they can dig deeper and discover its full potential.
The efficacy is what really matters. Paida and Lajin may appear simple, yet they are more
effective in healing complex diseases compared with mainstream medical practices. Many
diseases that doctors find no cure are self-healed by ordinary people using these two
unbelievably simple methods. Treating complex diseases with simple methods is as people
always put it, “The truest way is the simplest.” This is indeed an accurate and concrete
interpretation of the “Way (Tao)”.
And, by self-healing complex diseases, people will gain fresh insights into life and its health.
Their quality of life will be enhanced thanks to improved health condition. And they will move
from physical healing to spiritual healing, and from health management to life management.[:zh]

BASIC CONCEPTS

Ignore the disease name

Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 No Comments
[:en]This is the primary term we use to interpret PaidaLajin, and it is also one of the secrets to
the success of self-healing we advocate. A person with an understanding of this concept will not
bluntly ask questions like “Where should I slap to heal ××× disease?” Instead, he/she will do
PaidaLajin systematically, and not just focus on slapping a certain part of the body or healing a
particular disease.
Regardless of what disease a person has, he/she must first ignore its name. Please note that it is
the name that should be ignored, not the disease itself. A disease name is just the tip of an
iceberg; there are likely other, more severe underlying diseases that even doctors and patients
themselves are unaware of. Disease names are only labels affixed in modern medicine using
existing measures based on known pathological indicators and statistics, yet these labels do not
necessarily identify the actual diseases. A set of symptoms, or a disease with a particular name,
may have different contributing causes. Dispensing prescriptions based solely on a disease name
with no regard to its causes may worsen the condition.

Disease names can be very misleading. Here, I will use two very common ones—diabetes and
hypertension—to exemplify my point.

Diabetes is misleading due to the use of blood glucose level. Your doctor tells you that you are
diabetic and should take hypoglycemic drugs, and if your blood sugar is not under control, it can
easily lead to heart problems, even glaucoma (an eye disease) in severe cases. This is the kind of
knowledge taught in medical schools all along.

However, it has turned the causality upside down. By practicing PaidaLajin, we have learned
that in all diabetics, Sha (colorful toxic waste that comes out during Paida, see also CHAPTER III
Section II Sha and self-healing) will appear when the inner elbows are slapped (Heart and
Pericardium Meridians run along the inner elbows). This signals that they already have heart
problems but are unaware. When these people practice Lajin in reclining posture, they will feel
pain at the root of the thighs and the back of the knees, which indicates that the Liver, Spleen,
Kidney, and Urinary Bladder Meridians are all blocked, i.e. the corresponding organs all have
problems. Problems with these organs are the real causes of diabetes.

Further investigation reveals that all diabetics suffer from emotional disorders, to varying
degrees, such as tension, anxiety and depression. Such emotional turmoil leads to endocrine
disorders. Let alone adults, most teenage students are stressed out before sitting for a major
exam, thus suffering endocrine disorders and abnormal blood glucose levels.
In short, diabetes is caused by endocrine disorders, which is related to the Heart, i.e. a condition
due to emotional problems. Some people are overly obsessed with money, power, social status
or their children, and these obsessions make them tense and anxious all the time; some people
eat and drink too well, too much. How can the endocrine system function well?

If hypoglycemic drugs are taken without taking into account the causes, it will further damage
the functions of the heart, liver, kidneys, spleen and pancreas.

As a matter of fact, doctors and patients themselves are aware of the negative effects of
medication. Drug descriptions clearly state that they are damaging to the heart, liver, spleen,
kidney and other internal organs. Once the internal organs are damaged, the limbs and sensory
organs will be affected. According to Chinese medicine, the Liver opens into the eyes. As long as
the liver is functioning normally, the eyes will be healthy as well. Taking drugs or injecting
insulin will damage the liver and lead to such eye problems as glaucoma and retinal detachment.
Many diabetics take medicine as prescribed and end up with eye and internal organ problems.
When the condition worsens, their feet will ulcerate and they could even end up being
amputated.

To cure diabetes, we must not be misled by its name, but should instead identify the real causes.
Diabetics should first be happy and self-assured, and learn to let go; and practice PaidaLajin to
unblock the Heart, Liver, Spleen, Kidney and Urinary Bladder Meridians. When the internal
organs are functioning well, the blood glucose level will return to normal.
Another good example is hypertension. To doctors and patients of hypertension, it is natural
that antihypertensive drugs be taken to control blood pressure. The relationship between blood
pressure and the heart, liver, spleen, kidney and other organs are simply ignored. As a result, the
body’s internal organs are often damaged by the drugs taken.

Almost all antihypertensive drugs are diuretics that could weaken the functions of the kidneys.
This will firstly lead to lowered libido, declined sexual function, prostate disorders and such
urinary disorders as frequent and involuntary urination, etc.; Secondly, it will lead to insomnia,
tinnitus, hearing loss, hair loss, bone loss, Alzheimer’s disease, and shortened lifespan; in
addition, western medicine is acidic, and the acidity will destroy the tissues of blood vessel
walls, causing blood vessel ruptures that could lead to stroke and heart disease.

The cause and effect mentioned above could be hard to grasp with only knowledge of Western
medicine; however, it is clearly stated in the theory of Chinese medicine that “the Kidney
governs the bones; its health is shown in the hair; it opens into the ears; and it controls memory,
the urinary and excretory functions, and governs natural lifespan (how long a person is
supposed to live).” The blood pressure will return to normal as long as the Heart, Liver, Spleen
and Kidney Meridians are cleared of blockages.

In effect, there is no definitive standard for “normal” blood pressure; it relates to a person’s age,
physique and many other factors. It changes from day to day, and fluctuates with the person’s
mood and activities. Taking antihypertensive drugs inevitably induces more disorders, such as
eye, liver, kidney, and stomach problems, and even more drugs will be needed to treat these new
diseases. Many hypertensive patients die after years of medication, yet it is found that their
deaths are not caused by high blood pressure. In this sense, the name “hypertension” is quite
misleading.

All diseases with known names are so labeled according to identification and classification of
modern medicine based on known standards, using known measures. And no matter how
accurate the diagnoses of modern medicine or medical appliances are, there are still realms of
the complex human body where their diagnoses and treatments are yet to cover holistically. The
key to curing a disease is not in knowing the name, but rather in locating the root causes.
We advocate “ignoring the disease name”, in order that you can ignore the name of a disease, not
the disease itself. It also reminds us that there are many diseases behind one particularly labeled
disease. The names “diabetes” and “hypertension” imply that there is an underlying group of
other diseases, and this phenomenon is referred to as “Complex Diseases”. All diseases are
complex diseases, i.e. a complex of many diseases.

A disease indicates the blockade of many meridians, and its causes are also varied. We should be
cautious not to leave out any blocked meridian, or be misled by a particular indicator or disease
name; instead, we should strive for holistic health enhancement. We should try to unblock all
blocked meridians and not just one of them. In fact, the only real healing is holistic healing;
targeting a particular disease or a part of the body and ignoring the whole is always inviting
endless trouble. PaidaLajin should be practiced on all parts of the body in a “carpet bombing”
manner, so as to activate our internal “anti-virus mechanism”, i.e. the self-healing power, to clear
away all diseases in the body.[:zh]

Seven criteria of self-healing

Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 No Comments
[:en]There have been various self-healing methods in human history. Yoga, T’ai Chi, meditation
and modern sports are regular self-healing methods.
The self-healing methods we promote follow the teachings in Huang Di Nei Jing (simplified
Chinese: 黄帝内经; traditional Chinese: 黃帝內經; pinyin: huáng dì nèi jīng), also known as The
Yellow Emperor’s Canon of Internal Medicine. It is an ancient Chinese medical text that has been
treated as the fundamental doctrinal source for Chinese medicine for more than two millennia.
Huang Di Nei Jing advocates “nursing the Heart as the top priority, followed by external
treatment and dietary therapies, and using medication as the last resort”. We believe that by
following these principles, everyone will be able to self-heal. Note that “heart” refers to the
physical organ; whereas “Heart” refers to the intangible system in a human that feels.
Then comes the question of “how”. How to nurse the Heart? How to choose an external therapy?
A healing method that is too complex, has a limited application scope and obvious side effects, or
does not have desired efficacy, will not be widely received among the public.
Over the years, Mr. Xiao searched for traditional healing methods on many journeys. Through
learning and repeated practice, not only has he found some simple and effective methods, he
has also summed up seven criteria, where only by fulfilling these criteria can a healing method
be readily embraced by and benefit the vast majority of people. The criteria are as follows:
DIY: It should be a self-help exercise accessible to all, for enhancing overall health and curing
diseases. This is epoch-making, for medical services and most natural therapies rely on the work
of health and medical professionals.
Effective: Its effectiveness should be beyond doubt superior than that of mainstream medical
practices. This is the greatest motivation for people; otherwise, why should they practice it?
Simple: It should be simple enough to be mastered by most people in just one minute or a few
minutes. Otherwise, it cannot transcend racial, language, religious and other barriers and spread
all over the world.
Safe: It should have no side effects.
Universally applicable: It should be effective in self-healing most physical and mental disorders
as categorized in modern medicine, including common illnesses, acute, chronic, critical and rare
diseases.
Low-cost or even no cost: It should be low cost or even no cost, so that ordinary people and even
the poorest families can afford it, thus saving huge medical expenses for individuals, families,
organizations and nations.
Organic: It should not rely on any medicine or medical appliances, thus avoiding contamination
of the human body and Mother Nature, and waste of energy and resources.
At first glance, it can seem an impossible task to find a healing method that fulfils all these
criteria. Fortunately, not only has he found such methods, he and his team have been spreading
them rapidly across the world. They are non-medical methods selected from countless natural
therapies—Paida and Lajin (slapping and stretching exercises, hereinafter referred to as
PaidaLajin when mentioned together). They are not new inventions, but are folk, secret
therapies practiced in China for millennia. Their theories originated from ancient Chinese
classics Huang Di Nei Jing and Tao Te Ching. In fact, different variations of slapping and
stretching exercises can be found throughout the ages and across the world. We have all clapped
our hands and stretched our limbs, haven’t we?
We believe that the right way to healing should be most direct, simple and accessible. Bound by
deep-rooted perceptions of being cared for by professionals and health care system, people may
have long turned a blind eye to the obvious right way—to empower their innate self-healing
mechanism to do its job. We nonetheless believe that it is meant to be manifested through the
simplest PaidaLajin.
It has been a great challenge to promote secret therapies since the ancient times. It is even more
so when healing practices are legally defined and restricted, for it can affect too many interests
and cultural conventions. Fortunately, now is the Internet era. What used to be easily ignored or
denied by experts can now be verified by thousands and millions of people thanks to the power
of the Internet. We see the light of dawn, for everyone can practice and test the effect of
PaidaLajin.[:zh]

BASIC CONCEPTS

What is PaidaLajin self-healing method?

Post By Pailala Institute April 7, 2016 No Comments
[:en]The inherent ability in the human body as well as in plants and animals to repair and heal
itself is the self-healing power. And a method that mobilizes this power is a self-healing method.
Our self-healing power is an original creation of God, or the Creator. It is a precious gift
bestowed to us. The immune and self-reparatory functions are part of our self-healing power. It
enables the body to produce in vivo various biochemical substances according to the person’s
specific needs, thus self-healing diseases. These biochemical substances can be referred to as
“endogenous medicine” or “organic medicine” without any side effects.
Hippocrates, Father of Western medicine, repeatedly stressed that the body contains within
itself the power to re-balance and heal itself. The duty of a doctor is to try as much as possible to
mobilize this power, and not to take its place. This is an ancient interpretation of self-healing.
What is PaidaLajin?
Paida: To use hands and/or tools to repeatedly slap on parts of and the entire body at a tolerable
intensity, in order to enable smooth energy flow in meridians (energy channels in the body that
are connected to their respective organs). You can do it on your own, with or for others.

Paida is also a natural diagnostic method. In ancient times, it was called “Diao Shang (revealing
old injuries)”, i.e. slapping to reveal and heal the injuries and diseases in the body. Where there
is no health problem, nothing will be revealed.

Lajin: To stretch the limbs and joints of the body with very simple methods, to make the bones
in place and tendons flexible, and to enable smooth energy flow in meridians. The most effective
and also the most often used method is Lajin in reclining posture, i.e. stretching on a specially
made Lajin bench with one leg raised up.

Paida and Lajin are much simpler than the popular yoga and T’ai Chi. Practicing PaidaLajin
boosts Qi (vital life energy) and blood flow, and enhances the self-healing power. With better Qi
and blood flow, we may feel “discomforts” at the blockages in the meridians, including pain,
soreness, numbness, and swelling sensation. Diseases are self-healed during the process of
overcoming such “discomforts”. Diagnostic, treatment, disease prevention and anti-aging effects
are achieved—blockages in the meridians are unblocked, the flow of Qi and blood is boosted,
immunity is enhanced, diseases are self-healed and life expectancy is lengthened.
Paida and Lajin are not medical treatments as defined in modern medicine; they are health
maintenance and self-healing methods that can be practiced by everyone. Once we think out of
the box of “medical intervention”, we will find that these non-medical methods can be used to
prevent, diagnose and self-heal many so-called “incurable” diseases for medical professionals.
This has been repeatedly proven true by millions of people over the past five years, and we have
online and offline statistics and clinical reports provided by medical institutions to support this
claim.

We do not need to cover up the efficacy of PaidaLajin, simply to be in line with some people’s
ignorance and prejudice. The natural law does not specify that a doctor heals better than the
patient himself. In fact, the medical profession has only existed for several hundred years, much
shorter than the history of the human race.

Fortunately for us, PaidaLajin has an advantage that is the target of love and hate: The effects of
PaidaLajin can be measured by medical devices according to medical standards. With the
popularity of smart wearable devices, more and more people will be able to measure the
changes in their body. Eventually, backed with big data, we will be able to announce to the entire
world that PaidaLajin can effectively help prevent, diagnose and self-heal many diseases.

PaidaLajin does not threaten to replace mainstream medicine or other natural therapies. It can
make up for their shortcomings, though. Together, mainstream medicine, PaidaLajin and other
natural therapies can resolve the medical and aging crises in today’s world.[:zh]

There have been various self-healing methods in human
history. Yoga, T’ai Chi, meditation and modern sports are
regular self-healing methods.
The self-healing methods we promote follow the teachings in
Huang Di Nei Jing (simplified Chinese: 黄帝内经; traditional
Chinese: 黃帝內經; pinyin: huáng dì nèi jīng), also known as
The Yellow Emperor’s Canon of Internal Medicine. It is an
ancient Chinese medical text that has been treated as the
fundamental doctrinal source for Chinese medicine for more
than two millennia. Huang Di Nei Jing advocates “nursing the
Heart as the top priority, followed by external treatment and
dietary therapies, and using medication as the last resort”.
We believe that by following these principles, everyone will
be able to self-heal. Note that “heart” refers to the physical
organ; whereas “Heart” refers to the intangible system in a
human that feels.

Then comes the question of “how”. How to nurse the Heart?

How to choose an external therapy? A healing method that is
too complex, has a limited application scope and obvious side
effects, or does not have desired efficacy, will not be widely
received among the public.

What Is PaidaLajin Self-healing Method

Post By Pailala Institute November 14, 2017 2 Comments
The inherent ability in the human body as well as in plants and animals to repair
and heal itself is the self-healing power. And a method that mobilizes this power is a
self-healing method.

Our self-healing power is an original creation of God or the Creator. It is a precious

gift bestowed upon us. The immune and self-reparatory functions are part of our
self-healing power. It enables the body to produce in vivo various biochemical
substances according to the person’s specific needs, thus self-healing diseases.
These biochemical substances can be referred to as “endogenous medicine” or
“organic medicine” without any side effects.

Hippocrates, Father of Western medicine, repeatedly stressed that the body

contains within itself the power to re-balance and heal itself. The duty of a doctor is
to try as much as possible to mobilize this power, and not to take its place. This is an
ancient interpretation of self-healing.

What is PaidaLajin?

Paida: To use hands and/or tools to repeatedly slap on parts of and the entire body
at a tolerable intensity, in order to enable smooth energy flow in meridians (energy
channels in the body that are connected to their respective organs). You can do it on
your own, with or for others.

Paida is also a natural diagnostic method. In ancient times, it was called “Diao Shang
(revealing old injuries)”, i.e. slapping to reveal and heal the injuries and diseases in
the body. Where there is no health problem, nothing will be revealed.
Lajin: To stretch the limbs and joints of the body with very simple methods, to make
the bones in place and tendons flexible, and to enable smooth energy flow in
meridians. The most effective and also the most often used method is Lajin in
reclining posture, i.e. stretching on a specially made Lajin bench with one leg raised
up.

Paida and Lajin are much simpler than the popular yoga and T’ai Chi. Practicing
PaidaLajin boosts Qi (vital life energy) and blood flow, and enhances the self-healing
power. With better Qi and blood flow, we may feel “discomforts” at the blockages in
the meridians, including pain, soreness, numbness, and swelling sensation. Diseases
are self-healed during the process of overcoming such “discomforts”. Diagnostic,
treatment, disease prevention, and anti-aging effects are achieved—blockages in the
meridians are unblocked, the flow of Qi and blood is boosted, immunity is enhanced,
diseases are self-healed and life expectancy is lengthened.

Paida and Lajin are not medical treatments as defined in modern medicine; they are
health maintenance and self-healing methods that can be practiced by everyone.
Once we think out of the box of “medical intervention”, we will find that these non-
medical methods can be used to prevent, diagnose and self-heal many so-called
“incurable” diseases for medical professionals. This has been repeatedly proven true
by millions of people over the past five years, and we have online and offline
statistics and clinical reports provided by medical institutions to support this claim.

We do not need to cover up the efficacy of PaidaLajin, simply to be in line with some
people’s ignorance and prejudice. The natural law does not specify that a doctor
heals better than the patient himself. In fact, the medical profession has only existed
for several hundred years, much shorter than the history of the human race.

Fortunately for us, PaidaLajin has an advantage that is the target of love and hate:
The effects of PaidaLajin can be measured by medical devices according to medical
standards. With the popularity of smart wearable devices, more and more people
will be able to measure the changes in their body. Eventually, backed with big data,
we will be able to announce to the entire world that PaidaLajin can effectively help
prevent, diagnose and self-heal many diseases.

PaidaLajin does not threaten to replace mainstream medicine or other natural

therapies. It can make up for their shortcomings, though. Together, mainstream
medicine, PaidaLajin, and other natural therapies can resolve the medical and aging
crises in today’s world
