Conceptul care a stat la baza compozitiei arhitecturale este accentuarea directiilor orizontala si

verticala pentru a onora locul in care aceasta este pozitionata. Astfel, accentul vertical deserveste ca si
capat de perspectiva, marcand intrarea in orasul Bacau, iar accentul orizontal dubleaza orizontalitatea
oglinzii de apa reprezentate de Raul Bistrita. Scopul acestui principiu constructiv este de a reabilita
functional si vizual amplasamentul, aflat intr-o stare avansata de degradare. Utilizand aceasta dispunere
bidirectionala am reusit sa maximizez deschiderile favorable atat inspre amplasament cat si de pe
acesta fata de vecinatati, integrand armonios volumetría in spatiu ales.
Compozitia arhitecturala este amplasatala intersectia unor artere principale de circulatie,
reprezentate de Strada Ion Luca Caragiale, respectiv Blv. Unirii, in imediata apropiere a Raului Bistrita.
Accesul principal pe amplasament se realizeaza de pe latura nordica, prin intermediul Strazii Ion Luca
Caragiale; propun in acelasi timp un acces secundar la nivelul inferior, accentuand astfel paralelismul
compozitiei si a elementului natural reprezentat de apa. In timp ce pe latura nordica, volumetría
marcata de axa orizontala este integrata in panta terenuli, spre latura sudica aceasta se deschide complet
catre cadrul natural.
In realizarea fatadelor am abordat o maniera estética si constructiva care sa favorizeze spatiile
vitrate in defavoarea celor caracterizate de opacitate, pentru a oferi transparenta compozitiei si pentru a
crea o fuziune intre spatiile interioare si cele exterioare. Propunerea compozitionala ofera in acelasi
timp un spatiu public amenajat, care se deschide catre Raul Bistrita atat pentru a reabilita zona
destructurata si de a o revitaliza prin elemente naturale, cat si pentru a oferi publicului un punct de
interés in zona.
The concept behind the architectural composition is the highlighting of the horizontal and
vertical axis, in order to honor the site where it is positioned. Thus, the vertical accent serves as an end
perspective, marking the entrance to the city of Bacau, while the horizontal accent doubles the
horizontality of the water mirror, represented by the River of Bistrita. The purpose of this constructive
principle is to functionally and visually rehabilitate the site, wich is in an advanced state of degradation.
By using this bidirectional arrangement I managed to maximize the favorable openings both towards
the location and from the site to the neighborhoods, harmoniously integrating the volumetry in the
chosen space.
The architectural composition is located at the intersection of two main traffic arteries,
represented by Ion Luca Caragiale Street and Unirii Blvd., in the immediate vicinity of Bistrita River.
The main acces to the site is made from the northern side, through Ion Luca Caragiale Street; I propose
at the same time a secondary acces to the lower point on the site, thus emphasizing the parallelism of
the composition and the natural element represented by water. While on the northern side, the
volumetry marked by the horizontal axis is integrated in the slope of the land, towards the southern side
it opens completely to the natural frame.
In order to create the facades, I approached an aesthetic and constructive manner that would
favor the glazed spaces to the detriment of those characterized by opacity, in order to give transparency
to the composition and to create a fusion between the interior and exterior spaces. The compositional
proposal offers at the same time a public space - which opens to the Bistrita River – both to rehabilitate
the destructured area, to revitalize it with natural elements and to offer the public a point of interest.
