character acid pronunat.
combustibililor fosili, precum crbunele i petrolul. Aciditatea precipitaiilor
conversie.
Ploile acide i manifest efectul att asupra copacilor, solurilor, lacurilor i
sistemelor acvatice, ct i asupra arhitecturii i materialelor. Utilizarea
Acid rain is precipitation that has a pH of less than 5.6, thus having a
pronounced acid character. Acid rain is a form of pollution as both air and
water defined as any type of precipitation that has a level of acidity higher
than that of unpolluted rainfall.
The main cause of acid rain are sulfur dioxide (SO2). Natural sources that
emit this gas are volcanoes, but the main source remained burning fossil
fuels like coal and oil. The acidity of acid precipitation depends not only
emissions, but also the mix of chemicals that interact with SO2 and NOx in
the atmosphere.
HNO3 and H2SO4 formation is a complex process. It is very important to
take into account both the solution phase and gas phase in the conversion
process.
Acid rain shows its effect on trees, soils, lakes and aquatic systems and
the architecture and materials. Using desulfuralizate exhaust systems is one
of the most appreciated way of reducing the high sulfur content.
