Cea mai uoar i plcut metod prin care putem nva limbi strine

Un nou studiu sugereaz c putem nva mai uor o limb strin dac suntem dispui
s cntm. Oamenii de tiin de la Universitatea din Edinburgh au descoperit c adulii care
cntau cuvinte sau fraze scurte dintr-o limb nou pe care o nvau ajungeau s vorbeasc de
dou ori mai bine dect restul subiecilor.
Se presupune c, prin ascultarea i apoi redarea prin cntec a cuvintelor, facem apel la
o tehnic ce folosete legtura puternic dintre muzic i memorie.
Dei nu se tie exact cum, muzica i ajut pe elevi atunci cnd acetia nva i ajut la
declanarea amintirilor.
Dr. Katie Overy, coordonatorul studiului, susine c redarea prin cntec a cuvintelor sau
frazelor poate asigura o nou alternativ la metoda tradiional de nvare bazat pe ascultare
i reproducere.
Majoritatea oamenilor au deja experien n amintirea cuvintelor din cntece pe care le-
au auzit, iar uneori profesorii de limbi strine folosesc cntecele pentru a-i ajuta pe copii s
nvee. Am dorit s observm dac exist vreun beneficiu i am descoperit c redarea prin
cntece este mai eficient, mai ales atunci cnd vine vorba de teste orale la limbi strine, a
declarat Overy.
n studiu, oamenii de tiin au folosit nregistrri ntr-o limb cu care era foarte puin
probabil ca participanii s se fi ntlnit, cu scopul de a-i ajuta pe 60 de aduli s nvee limba
respectiv.
n timpul cercetrii, subiecii fie ascultau cuvinte i apoi erau rugai s le repete, fie le
ascultau i apoi le repetau ntr-un anumit ritm, ca pe cntece. Dup anumite perioade scurte de
nvare, de 15 minute, subiecii erau supui unui test pentru a se observa ct de bine reueau
s nvee cuvintele. Rezultatele au indicat c cei care folosiser tehnica ascult i cnt
obineau rezultate mai bune. Mai mult, ei se descurcau mai bine i atunci cnd erau nevoii s
i aminteasc cuvintele, n timpul testelor ce analizau memoria pe termen lung.
Dr. Karen Ludke, coautorul studiului, susine c rezultatele ar putea veni n ajutorul celor
care se strduiesc s nvee limbi strine. Rezultatele sugereaz c metoda ascult i cnt
poate facilita memorarea. De asemenea, studiul deschide calea spre cercetri viitoare n acest
domeniu. Una dintre ntrebri este dac melodia poate asigura un impuls pentru memorie,
ajutnd astfel oamenii s i aminteasc cu uurin cuvinte i fraze dintr-o limb strin .

How to Learn a New Language Fast

Want to find out how you can learn a new language quickly, without the need for expensive
classes or language learning software? There are really no secrets or shortcuts -- you just need
to be willing to work hard and not be afraid to make mistakes. Start with Step 1 below to find out

1. Connect with a native speaker. The best way to learn a new language is to speak it. People
spend all of their time studying grammar and memorizing lists of words instead of actually going

2. Study the language every day. If you want to learn a new language quickly-- that is, in the

hours per day. Language learning is based on repetition -- hammering something into your brain
over and over again until you remember it.

3. Carry a dictionary at all times. Carrying a dictionary with you will save you a lot of time and
frustration, so invest in one as soon as possible!

4. Watch, listen, read and write in your chosen language. Do all of the activities you would
normally do in your native tongue, through your new language -- whether that's reading, writing
or listening. Possibly the easiest thing you can do is watch television shows or movies in the
language you are trying to learn.

Change your language settings on all your electronic devices so that you can pick up words you
know already in English but not in the new language.

Listen to songs in that language. Try to learn the lyrics, then check what they mean. That way, if
you hear it again, you can tell what the conversation is about at that point.
