Albina se odihnea pe o floare de nufr din mijlocul unei bl i. Aripile i se umeziser i nu mai putea
zbura. Tocmai atunci trecu pe acolo o vulpe care ncerca s scape de ogarii vntorului. Albina o rug s o ia i
pe ea. Vulpea i spuse s se aeze pe capul su. Apoi trecu balta not i alerg n continuare.
Pe urmele vulpii venir i ogarii urmai de vntor. Vulpea nu reui s se ascund, iar ogarii i tiar
calea.
Albina i uscase ntre timp aripile. i mulumi vulpii i zbur iute ctre vntor. Cnd acesta tocmai
voia s apese pe trgaci, albina l nep n mn. Astfel, vntorul i risipi cartuele fr s nimereasc vulpea.
