Present Perfect Simple

1. leagă prezentul de trecut

2. ACȚIUNEA a început ÎN TRECUT, și a generat UN REZULTAT/ UN EFECT
Past Simple - I lost my book. S-ar putea să o fi pierdut luni și să o fi găsit marți. Nu mai e adevărat.
Present perfect Simple - I have lost my book. Încă e adevărat și CARTEA E TOT PIERDUTĂ.

Present Perfect Simple - I have cooked dinner. – Am pregătit cina și acum E GATA!
Acțiunea e terminată. Nu mai am nimic de făcut. Accentul cade pe rezultat.
Present Perfect Continuous – I have been cooking dinner. – Am început să gătesc, dar încă nu am terminat. = CONTINUOUS.
Acțiunea continuă. Accentul cade pe durata activității,
nu pe rezultat!

When to use Present Perfect SIMPLE/ Când folosim Present Perfect Continuous

1. PAST - TRUE. ACȚIUNI CARE AU ÎNCEPUT ÎN TRECUT ȘI sunt valabile și acum!

I have seen that movie. = A,m văzut acel film. Nu mai vreau să merg încă o dată la cinema.
I have found my keys. = Am găsit cheile. Nu mai trebuie să le caut. Încă e valabil faptul că le-am găsit și că nu trebuie să le caut.
VEDEȚI REZULTATUL, EFECTUL?
2. PAST – FINISHED. ACȚIUNI CARE AU ÎNCEPUT ÎN TRECUT și S-AU ÎNCHEIAT.
I have finished my homework. = Am terminat. Nu mai am nimic de scris. Sunt liberă.
I have cooked dinner. = Am terminat, nu mai am nimic de făcut. E pregătită masa.
3. PAST - UNFINISHED. TRECUT NETERMINAT. ACȚIUNI CARE ÎNCĂ SUNT REALE.
I have worked here for (“for” ne arată o perioadă de timp) 5 years.
I have lived since (“since” ne arată un moment/ un punct în timp) 2012.
It has been raining all day/ all night/ all afternoon/ all evening.
She has been exercising a lot lately/ recently.
4. RECENT PAST – RESULT.
I have just eaten lunch. – Tocmai ce am luat masa. Îți mulțumesc pentru invitație, dar nu mai pot înghiți o îmbucătură!
I have just sent the e-mail. – Tocmai ce am trimis e-mail-ul. Nu îl mai pot lua înapoi.
5. PAST REPETITIVE – TREECUTUL REPETITIV
I have shopped here for many years.

Common words and expressions used with Present Perfect Simple

1. FINISHED:
I have already read that book. – Încă e adevărat. REZULTATUL: cunosc conținutul cărții.
Our team has just won the the game.
2. UNFINISHED
She has worked here for 3 months. (for = ne arată o perioadă de timp).
She has worked here since January. (since = ne arată un moment/ un punct anume în timp).
The flight has not arrived yet! (yet = până în acest moment)
Have you ever been to Italy? (ever = vreodată)
He has never eaten sushi.
- How long have you known each other?
- We have known each other since 2012.
