 Relatia medic-pacient

Relaţia medic – pacient este una extrem de

complexă, vizând aspecte culturale,
psihologice şi sociale, care vor influenţa
comportamentul fiecăruia dintre cei doi
actori. Această relaţie este una care se
stabileşte între membrii a două grupuri
sociale distincte în ceea ce priveşte
prestigiul, puterea şi orientările lor: un grup
ce oferă îngrijiri specializate unui alt grup
care solicită aceste îngrijiri de sănătate

Statusul reprezintă poziţia ocupată de o persoană sau un grup de

persoane în societate, având determinare atât pe orizontală, în ceea
ce priveşte reţeaua de contacte şi schimburi cu persoane având
acelaşi nivel social, cât şi pe verticală, vizând relaţiile cu persoane
aflate în poziţii superioare sau inferioare în ierarhia socială

Este cel mai important în societăţile
moderne, divizându-se în statusuri:
-formale (oficiale, distribuite conform cu
organigrama)
-informale (dobândite pe baza
caracteristicilor persoanei)

Statusul formal face diferenţa între gradul de angajaţi pe baza unor trăsături
de autoritate conferit de organizaţie necerute expres de organizaţie.

legătură cu acesta., fiind definit şi ca
ansamblul de comportamente pe
care în mod legitim îl aşteaptă ceilalţi
de la individul care ocupă un status
social.

a raporturilor sociale şi de structurare
a comportamentului indivizilor în limite
aşteptate de societate. Statutul social
presupune existenţa concomitentă a
unui set de roluri ce pot fi sau nu

În societatea actuală, medicul are un status extrem de înalt, diferenţiindu-se

prin nivelul de formaţie abstractă şi specializată, prin orientarea spre profesie,
prin recunoaşterea autorităţii depline asupra bolii şi monopolul asupra
tratamentului. Monopolul asupra activităţii proprii îi diferenţiază net pe medici
de alţi profesionişti, dobândind astfel şi o autonomie extremă asupra
controlului şi exerciţiului meseriei.

Intervenind în situaţiile de criză, medicul apare într-o triplă ipostază, de om

care:
-alină suferinţa
-vindecă boala
-salvează viaţa bolnavului
