Tema: Practising reading, writing and functions(exersarea activităţii de scriere cu activitatea
practică:interpretarea unui rol).
Clasa:aVIII-a
Titlul lecţiei: “What’s Your Advice?”

Metoda are ca punct de plecare textul din manualul de cls aVIII , Reward, Ed.Macmillan,
“What’s Your Advice?”, pag.86. După citirea textului elevii se identifică cu un anumit
personaj şi îndeplinesc următoarele sarcini:
ROL: elevii interpreteaza personajul cu care s-au identificat.
AUDITORIU: elevii care s-au identificat cu acelaşi personaj îşi aleg un auditoriu, format
din elevii care şi-au ales un alt personaj, căruia îi vor adresa un mesaj scris(o scrisoare) prin
care solicită un sfat la problema lor.
FORMA: mesajul adresat auditoriului are forma unei scrisori informale.
TEMA:mesajul adresat auditoriului are ca tema găsirea unei soluţii adecvate pentru
rezolvarea unei probleme personale.

OBIECTIVE:
1. The students must read a text using scanning, they will have to identify the role of each
character involved and discover the characteristics of the style (what type, what tone,
what vocabulary).
2. The students are asked to work in pairs and write a similar text choosing a role.
3. The students must use the appropriate language functions (asking for and giving advice),
must respect the instructions and the topic.
4. After writing a text they will give it to their partner and then change roles and write a
different one.
ACTIVITATI:
 The teacher asks the students to read a text from a youth magazine (the problem page),
precisely to scan it in order to find out who the characters are (who is the sender and
the addressee), the message and to identify the type of text (personal letter) and its
characteristics (vocabulary, language, style). (Profesorul le cere elevilor să citească
textul,să afle cine sunt personajele, să identifice tipul de text –scrisoare personală- şi
caracteristicile textului:vocabular, limbaj, stil.)
 The teacher talks to the class about the reading and then asks to work in pairs; first of
all each student will write a personal letter to such a “problem page” asking for advice,
respecting the form, the message and the topics of the text.(Profesorul vorbeşte cu
elevii despre textul citit şi le cere să lucreze în perechi. Mai întâi fiecare elev va scrie o
scrisoare personală unei reviste cerând sfatul, respectând forma,mesajul şi tema
textului.)
 The teacher revises with the students or presents (if necessary) the language necessary
for the practiced functions (asking for and giving advice); for example such structures
are revised or written on the blackboard: What do I do?, Do you think I should…?,
Should I tell him…?, I think you really should…(Profesorul recapitulează cu elevii-
dacă este cazul- structurile care vor fi folosite pentru a cere sau a oferi un sfat.)
 The students are given the necessary time to write the personal letter using the given
information, but also being creative.(Elevii vor scrie scrisori personale într-un anumit
timp dat, folosind informaţiile date , dar fiind în acelaşi timp şi creativi.)
 After they fulfill this role the students will be asked to change roles; they will give the
letter to their partner who will read it and each will write an answer to that letter.(După
ce îşi îndeplinesc sarcina, elevii vor schimba rolurile ;vor da scrisoarea partenerului lor
care o va citi şi fiecare va scrie un răspuns la acea scrisoare.)
 Then again the students will change letters and will read them; meanwhile the teacher
monitorizes the writing activity and helps the students if necessary.(Apoi, din nou
elevii vor schimba scrisorile şi le vor citi. In acest timp profesorul monitorizează
activitatea de scriere a elevilor şi îi va ajuta dacă e cazul.)
 At the end the teacher asks some of the pairs to read the letters and the answers aloud
and discusses them with the rest of the students, pointing out if they are appropriate to
the task, if they follow the instructions or not.(In final profesorul le va cere perechilor
să citească scrisorile şi răspunsurile în faţa clasei şi să le discute cu restul
colegilor,remarcând dacă au îndeplinit sarcina sau dacă au urmat instrucţiunile.)
