We use Present Continuous negative form
when we want to say that:

1. Ceva ce NU se întâmplă chiar acum / în această perioadă / în

viitorul planificat / în fotografie sau imagine

annoying them.
(Ei nu vorbesc cu ea, dar ea tot îi enervează.)

Now she is running around the class. She is not

stopping!
(Acum aleargă prin clasă. Nu se oprește!)

I am not trying to be a strict teacher, but her

behaviour is really bad…
(Nu încerc să fiu o profesoară strictă, dar
comportamentul ei este foarte rău.)
I am asking her to sit down, but she is not
listening.
(O rog să stea jos, dar nu mă ascultă.)

I am not accepting this behaviour any longer.

(Nu voi mai tolera acest comportament.)

I am calling her parents at the moment.

(Îi sun pe părinții ei chiar acum.)

Singular: Plural:

IMPORTANT: În propozițiile negative, pur și simplu

adăugăm „nu” între verbele auxiliare și principale.
