Ținem minte că:

 Atunci când exprimăm sutele şi miile, nu adăugăm marca de plural (s) la

sfârşitul cuvintelor hundred și thousand.
 13 este thirtheen, iar 30 - thirty. 14 este fourteen, iar 40 - forty. Și așa mai
departe.

Țintem minte că:

 Dintre anii din lista de mai sus, 1789 și 1984 se pot exprima mult mai simplu

 Pentru anii de după 2000, de obicei: Includem and în engleza britanică. Nu
includem and în engleza americană.
