Demografia este studiul dinamicii populațiilor umane. Ea cuprinde studiul mărimii,

structurii și distribuției populației, precum și modul în care o populație se modifică în timp
în urma nașterilor, deceselor, migrației și îmbătrânirii.

Politică demografică- ansamblu de măsuri administrative, legislative,

sanitare, culturale și educaționale adoptate de un stat cu scopul de a reține
sau stimula creșterea numărului populației.

Criză demografică-micșorarea populației tarii sau a regiunii ce conduce la o

descreștere totală a populației.
