Definiție
 Băile Hauffe sunt proceduri cu
efect „central” aplicate prin intermediul
apei la extremități, după o tehnică
caracterizată de creștere gradată a
temperaturii apei, fapt ce justifică și
termenul de „băi ascendente”.
 Legea lui Hauffe

Ca o excepție de la reacția antagonică, Hauffe a

demonstrat că sunt unele organe – coronarele,
vasele cerebrale, renale, bronșice etc - care
reacționează consensual, și antagonic față de
excitantul termic utilizat (sunt organe cu
circulație termino-terminală).
