Măsurarea TA la domiciliu
Reprezintă măsurarea TA la domiciliu de către
pacienții înşişi, folosindacelaşi tip de aparat ca în
clinică. Este o modalitate de măsurare a TAîn afara
cabinetului", fiind similară cu monitorizarea diurnă
a TA înambulator. Este în mod special utilă
pentru:identificarea diferitelor fenotipuri de
TAimplicarea pacienților în luarea de comun acord
a deciziilor medicalemonitorizarea pe termen lung
a TA între vizitele la cabinet.Recomandările actuale
sugerează ca TA să fie măsurată de celpuţin două
ori consecutiv, dimineața înainte de administrarea
trata-mentului și încă o dată seara, pentru 4-7 zile.
 TIPURI DE HIPER TENSIUNE
ARTERIALĂ
• cea mai frecvent întâlnită în practică fiind cea esențială sau primară. Aceasta apare fără o
cauză anume, după vârsta de 40 de ani și poate fi rezultatul moștenirii genetice.
• Hipertensiunea arterială secundară are o cauză definită, precum afectarea unui alt organ
sau utilizarea unor medicamente care au ca rezultat creșterea valorilor tensiunii peste cele
stabilite ca fiind normale. Deseori, tratarea organului afectat sau sistarea medicamentelor
are ca efect scăderea și chiar normalizarea tensiunii arteriale.
• Hipertensiunea arterială sistolică izolată presupune doar o creștere a tensiunii arteriale
sistolice la valori peste 140 mmHg, în timp ce presiunea diastolică rămâne la valori
normale, sub 90 mmHg și apare deseori la persoanele trecute de 65 de ani, datorită
scăderii elasticității pereților arterelor.
• Hipertensiunea de halat alb, adică înregistrarea de valorilor crescute ale tensiunii în
cabinetul medical, în timp ce în afara acestuia, de exemplu la domiciliu, pacientul are valori
normale de tensiune.
