Objectives - the concept of constitution and the meaning of constitutionalism;
- models of constitutional adjudication (American judicial review and European
constitutional courts);
- separation of powers and American checks and balances;
- unitary state, regionalisation and federalism. Elastic and cooperative federalism;
- the legislative body and its functions;
- the executive branch and its relationship with parliament.
