Admission to this master's program is open to all higher education graduates who are
interested in this field and is based on an interview to assess academic potential (70%)
and the average bachelor's degree (30%).

Psychology of language and communication

Partners Partnerships with members of other university groups (both in the country and
abroad), as well as with professionals from pre-university education
institutions or speech therapy centers become sources not only of mutually
beneficial collaborations, but also of stimulating interest in research and
transdisciplinary applications
For the good development of the activity within this master program, we have
developed numerous partnerships with different categories of institutions,
among which we mention: speech therapy centers, Special schools for sensory
and mental deficiencies (Constantin Păunescu Special School for the students
with intellectual disabilities, St. Nicholas – Special School for students with
intellectual disabilities, St. Mary's Special School for students with hearing
impairment etc.), NGOs etc.

testimonials When I started in the speech therapy profession, I was looking for a training
program that would complement the initial training acquired during the faculty
with in-depth notions in the field of language development and re-education.
I chose the study program Speech Therapy in the communication processes
due to the prestige of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences in
general, as well as the team of university teachers, in particular. This study
program has a comprehensive but at the same time applied curriculum, which
focuses on acquiring the specific skills needed by a specialist in the therapy of
language disorders, starting from the identification and assessment of
language disorders to the development of a complex therapeutic intervention
program, adapted to the needs of each client. I thank the members of the
Department of Special Education for their availability and the direct support
provided during the program, but extended beyond it, in the frequent
professional collaborations we have had over the years.
