Conform prevederilor legisla]iei privind gestionarea de[eurilor, este interzis\ eliminarea de[eurilor de echipamente electrice [i electronice (DEEE) al\turi de de[eurile municipale nesortate. Acest produs pe care l-a]i achizi]ionat este cea mai nou\ realizare a noastr\ din gama produselor cu normele europene [i na]ionale care v\ . garanteaz\ Are un design nou, atractiv [i este construit n conformitate aptitudinile de func]ionare [i securitate. Nerespectarea acestor instruc]iuni poate duce la defectarea motocompresorului [i scoaterea aparatului din garan]ie.

Sfaturi pentru reciclarea vechiului dumneavoastr\ aparat dumneavoastr\

~n cazul `n care noul aparat achizi]ionat `nlocuie[te un aparat mai vechi, v\ sf\tuim s\ ]ine]i cont de urm\toarele aspecte: Aparatele uzate nu sunt de[euri f\r\ valoare. Eliminarea lor prin respectarea mediul `nconjur\tor permite recuperarea unor materii prime importante. Vechiul aparat `l pute]i recicla parcurgnd urm\torii pa[i: - deconecta]i aparatul de la re]eaua electric\; - `ndep\rta]i cablul de alimentare (t\ia]i-l); - `ndep\rta]i eventualele `ncuietori de pe u[\ pentru a evita blocarea `n interior, din joac\, a copiilor [i punerea `n pericol a vie]ii acestora. Aparatele frigorifice con]in materiale izolatoare [i agen]i frigorifici care necesit\ o reciclare adecvat\.

Precau]ii [i recomand\ri generale recomand\

Nu pune]i aparatul `n func]iune dac\ a]i observat o defec]iune. ~n timpul transportului, manipul\rii [i pozi]ion\rii aparatului evita]i sa deforma]i circuitul frigorific (tubulatura). Folosi]i compartimentul frigider doar pentru conservarea alimentelor proaspete [i compartimentul congelator doar pentru p\strarea alimentelor congelate, congelarea alimentelor proaspete [i producerea cuburilor de ghea]\. Nu l\sa]i u[ile deschise mai mult dect este necesar introducerii sau scoaterii alimentelor. Nu p\stra]i b\uturi acidulate (sucuri, ap\ mineral\ carbogazoas\, [ampanie, etc.) `n congelator: sticla poate s\ explodeze ! Nu se vor congela b\uturi `n sticle de plastic. Nu depozita]i `n interior produse care con]in gaze inflamabile sau explozive. Nu consuma]i cuburi de ghea]\ sau `nghe]at\ imediat dup\ scoaterea lor din compartimentul congelator pentru c\ pot cauza arsuri la rece. Nu atinge]i niciodat\ p\r]i metalice reci sau alimente congelate dac\ ave]i minile ude deoarece minile dvs. pot `nghe]a rapid pe suprafe]ele foarte reci. Nu permite]i copiilor s\ se joace sau s\ se ascund\ `n interiorul aparatului. ~nainte de a efectua orice opera]ie de cur\]are scoate]i fi[a din priza de curent. Pentru a deconecta aparatul de la re]ea trage]i de fi[\ [i nu de cablu! Nu v\ urca]i pe aparat, nu v\ l\sa]i pe u[i, gr\tare sau etajere. Nu folosi]i aparatul aproape de radiatoare, ma[ini de g\tit sau alte surse de c\ldur\ [i foc.

Reciclarea ambalajului
Nu permite]i copiilor s\ se joace cu ambalajul sau cu p\r]i componente ale acestuia. Exist\ riscul de a se sufoca cu buc\]i de carton pliat [i cu folia de plastic. Pentru ca apartul s\ nu se deterioreze `n timpul transportului, toate materialele care constituie ambalajul acestuia au fost proiectate corespunz\tor cerin]elor de reciclare [i de protec]ia mediului `nconjur\tor. Pentru respectarea mediului `nconjur\tor v\ sf\tuim s\ recicla]i ambalajul!

Recomand\m ca transportul aparatului s\ se fac\ numai `n pozi]ie vertical\. ~naintea efectu\rii probei de func]ionare `n magazin, ambalajul aparatului trebuie s\ fie intact. ~nainte de punere `n func]iune, l\sa]i-l `n repaus min. 12 ore. 2

Pentru a preveni orice posibilitate de deteriorare sau de accidentare, pe partea superioar\ a aparatului (top) nu se vor a[eza obiecte ornamentale instabile, care con]in lichide sau surse de foc (exemplu: vaze cu flori, ghivece, lumn\ri, l\mpi, etc.). Nu l\sa]i alimentele `n aparat dac\ acesta nu func]ioneaz\. Dac\ nu utiliza]i aparatul cteva zile, nu este recomandabil s\-l opri]i. Dac\ nu-l utiliza]i o perioad\ mai mare de timp, ve]i proceda `n felul urm\tor: - scoate]i fi[a cordonului de alimentare din priz\; - goli]i frigiderul [i congelatorul; - dezghe]a]i [i cur\]a]i; - l\sa]i u[ile deschise pentru a evita formarea mirosurilor nepl\cute. Cordonul de alimentare poate fi `nlocuit doar de c\tre o persoan\ autorizat\.

Instruc]iuni de utilizare
Asigura]i libera circula]ie a aerului `n jurul aparatului, prin respectarea distan]elor precizate `n fig. 2. Monta]i pe condensator (`n partea din spate) limitatoarele livrate `mpreun\ cu aparatul (Fig. 3). Pardoseala sau suportul pe care va fi a[ezat aparatul trebuie s\ fie perfect nivelat; `n caz contrar pute]i regla orizontalitatea prin reglajul picioru[elor frontale (Fig. 4). Orice pies\ de mobilier suspendat\ se va monta la o distan]\ minim\ de 25 cm deasupra aparatului. Aceea[i distan]\ se va asigura [i `n cazul existen]ei unei ni[e sau a altui element de construc]ie. Aparatul nu este construit pentru a fi incastrat `n mobil\. Monta]i accesoriile din dotare. ambiant\ Temperatura ambiant\ este un factor important in func]ionarea aparatului Dvs. din punct de vedere al realiz\rii temperaturilor interioare cu un consum minim de energie [i aprecierea duratei de via]\ a acestuia. Acest aparat a fost conceput s\ func]ioneze [i s\ asigure parametrii proiecta]i (specifica]i in manualul de utilizare [i pl\cu]a de caracteristici) `ntr-un domeniu al temperaturilor ambiante cuprins `ntre 100C [i 380C, (clasa climatica SN-ST). La temperaturi ambiante mai mici sau mai mari dect limita inferioar\, respectiv limita superioar\ se pot produce perturba]ii in buna func]ionare a aparatului. La temperaturi ambiante sub limita inferioar\ de 100C, cu ct ne `ndep\rt\m de aceasta, (c\tre 00C) timpul de pauz\ este din ce `n ce mai mare iar in compartimentul congelator temperatura cre[te. Evita]i utilizarea aparatului dumneavoastra la temperaturi ambiante mai mici de 50C. La temperaturi ambiante peste limita superioar\ de 38 0 C, cu ct ne indep\rt\m de aceasta, pauzele sunt din ce `n ce mai mici, aparatul tinde ctre o func]ionare continu\, temperaturile interioare cresc, la fel [i consumul de energie.

Modul de instalare a aparatului

Aten]ie! Acest aparat trebuie folosit numai `n scopul pentru care a fost fabricat (uz casnic), `n spa]ii corespunz\toare, ferit de ploaie, umezeal\ sau al]i factori atmosferici. corect\ esen]ial\ Instalarea corect\ este esen]ial\ pentru a asigura func]ionarea aparatului la performan]ele sale maxime. Pentru aceasta recomand\m amplasarea aparatului `n `nc\peri ferite de ploaie, umezeal\ sau al]i factori atmosferici. Aparatul trebuie instalat departe de orice surs\ de c\ldur\ [i foc. Instalarea `ntr-o `nc\pere cald\, expunerea direct\ la razele solare sau pozi]ionarea aparatului `n apropierea unei surse de c\ldur\ (calorifere, ma[ini de g\tit, cuptoare), m\resc consumul de energie electric\ [i reduc durata de via]\ a acestuia. De aceea, acest aparat trebuie instalat numai `n `nc\peri prev\zute cu u[i [i ferestre care s\ permit\ o bun\ circula]ie a aerului. Pentru amplasarea aparatului `n locuin]a dumneavoastr\ respecta]i urm\toarele distan]e minime: - 100 cm de la ma[inile de g\tit pe baz\ de c\rbuni sau petrol; - 150 cm de la ma[inile de g\tit electrice [i/sau pe baz\ de gaze.

re]eaua electric\ Conectarea la re]eaua electric\ Aparatul dumneavoastr\ este prev\zut s\ func]ioneze la o tensiune monofazat\ de 220240V/50 Hz. ~nainte de a conecta aparatul la re]ea, asigura]iv\ c\ parametrii re]elei electrice din casa dumneavoastr\ (tensiune, tip curent, frecven]\) corespund parametrilor de func]ionare ai aparatului. Informa]iile referitoare la tensiunea de alimentare [i puterea absorbit\ sunt date pe eticheta de marcare, situat\ `n interior pe partea lateral\, vizibil\ dup\ tragerea cutiei pentru legume [i fructe. Instala]ia electric\ trebuie s\ respecte condi]iile legale. Conectarea aparatului la o re]ea electric\ prev\zut\ cu `mp\mntare este obligatorie prin lege. Produc\torul nu-[i asum\ nici o r\spundere pentru eventualele pagube aduse persoanelor, animalelor sau distrugerea bunurilor rezultate prin nerespectarea condi]iilor men]ionate. Aparatul este dotat cu un cordon de alimentare [i o fi[\ (model european, marcat\ 10/16A) cu dublu contact de legare la p\mnt de protec]ie. Dac\ priza nu este de acela[i tip cu fi[a, cere]i unui tehnician specializat s\ o schimbe. Este recomandat s\ nu conecta]i aparatul la re]aua electric\ cu un prelungitor sau un adaptor. Dac\ aparatul este montat `ntre dou\ corpuri de mobilier asigura]i-v\ c\ acestea nu sunt a[ezate pe cablul de alimentare sau nu `l preseaz\. electric\ Deconectarea de la re]eaua electric\ Deconectarea electric\ trebuie s\ fie posibil\ prin scoaterea fi[ei din priz\ sau cu ajutorul unui `ntrerup\tor bipolar de re]ea situat `naintea prizei. Reglarea temperaturilor `n frigider [i congelator

Temperaturile interioare ale frigiderului [i congelatorului se regleaz\ simultan cu ajutorul butonului montat pe termostat plasat in interiorul compartimentului frigider (fig. 5). Aparatul este astfel conceput inct, pentru aceea[i pozitie a butonului termostat, este asigurat\ o buna echilibrare a temperaturilor interioare din compartimentele congelator [i frigider pentru oricare temperatur\ ambiant\ `ntre 100C [i 380C.

Tehnologia Blue Light

Acest aparat frigorific achizitionat de dvs. utilizeaza noua tehnologie blue light. Active Fresh Blue Light prelunge[te perioada de depozitare a fructelor [i legumelor proaspete mentinnd aromele naturale [i elementele nutritive. Totodat\ permite m\rirea duratei de p\strare a con]inutului de vitamina C din legumele [i fructele depozitate `n compartimentul special destinat acestora, luminat permanent de lumina albastr\. Aparatul este prevazut cu doua LED-uri albastre care func]ioneaza continuu, chiar [i atunci cnd u[a este `nchis\.

Punerea `n func]iune
~nainte de punerea `n func]iune, cur\]a]i interiorul aparatului (citi]i capitolul "~ntre]inerea [i cur\]area aparatului"). Dup\ terminarea acestei opera]ii conecta]i aparatul la re]eaua electric\, deschide]i u[a frigiderului (becul din interior se va aprinde). Regla]i butonul termostat pe o pozi]ie medie. L\sa]i aparatul s\ func]ioneze circa 4 ore f\r\ s\ pune]i alimente `n el. Congelarea alimentelor proaspete este posibil\ dup\ min. 12 ore de func]ionare.

Temperaturile ob]inute `n interior pot s\ varieze `n func]ie de condi]iile de utilizare ale aparatului: amplasare, temperatura mediului ambiant, frecven]a deschiderii u[ilor, gradul de `nc\rcare cu alimente. Pozi]ia butonului termostat se va modifica `n func]ie de aceste condi]ii. ~n general, pentru o temperatur\ a mediului ambiant de 250C, la prima punere in func]iune a aparatului, butonul termostatului se va fixa pe o pozi]ie medie. Aceast\ pozi]ie poate fi ajustat\ ulterior `n plus sau minus in func]ie de dorin]a fiec\rui utilizator. Este recomandat\ o pozi]ie a butonului termostat pentru care temperatura medie din interiorul frigiderului (pentru un ciclu de func]ionare), la un mediu ambiant de 250C, s\ fie `n jurul valorii de 50C, automat `n compartimentul congelator temperatura va fi optim\ pentru conservarea [i congelarea alimentelor. Aceast\ pozi]ie a butonului termostat poate fi pastrat\ [i pentru temperaturi ambiante de 100C [i 320C f\r\ a strica echilibrul temperaturilor din compartimentele frigider [i congelator. Evita]i o pozi]ie a butonului termostat care ar putea duce la o func]ionare continu\ a aparatului. Aceasta provoac\ sc\derea temperaturilor sub 00C in compartimentul frigider, cu pericolul `nghe]\rii b\uturilor [i a alimentelor proaspete [i o acumulare excesiv\ de ghea]\ pe peretele interior, cu sc\derea eficien]ei frigorifice a aparatului (cre[terea consumului de energie). Termostatul asigur\ dezghe]area automat\ a compartimentului frigider la fiecare ciclu de func]ionare. ~n timpul func]ion\rii aparatului, apar pic\turi de condens sau de ghea]\ pe peretele interior din spate. Nu este nevoie s\ `ndep\rta]i aceste pic\turi, deoarece peretele din spate se dezghea]\ automat. Apa rezultat\ se scurge prin canalul special [i se strnge `ntr-o t\vi]\ aflat\ pe motocompresor, de unde se evapor\. Pentru a m\sura temperatura `ntr-o anumit\ zon\ `n interiorul frigiderului (de exemplu pe raft) pute]i folosi un termometru amplasat, `ntr-un recipient plin cu ap\ (pahar). Pentru a ob]ine o temperatur\ care reprezint\ `ntr-adev\r temperatura `n zona respectiv\ cu exactitate, temperatura trebuie s\ fie citit\ dup\ cteva ore de stabilizare, de exemplu diminea]a cnd u[a este deschis\ pentru prima oar\. 5

Producerea cuburilor de ghea]\ cuburilor ghea]\
Umple]i trei sferturi cu ap\ t\vi]a pentru cuburi de ghea]\ [i pune]i-o `n compartimentul congelator. Cuburile de ghea]\ se desprind mai u[or dac\ trece]i t\vi]a cteva secunde sub un jet de ap\ rece.

Congelarea alimentelor
Capacitatea de congelare reprezinta greutatea maxim\ de alimente care poate fi congelat\ in 24 de ore. Aceasta este indicat\ `n tabelul de la pag. 12 [i pe placu]a cu datele tehnice din interiorul compartimentului frigider, lng\ cutia de legume. Alimentele trebuie s\ fie congelate complet [i ct mai repede, numai astfel se conserv\ con]inutul de vitamine, valoarea lor nutritiv\, aspectul [i gustul lor. Din acest motiv se recomand\ s\ nu se dep\[easc\ capacitatea maxim\ de congelare a aparatului dumneavoastra. Alimentele deja congelate se vor feri de contactul direct cu alimentele ce urmeaz\ a fi congelate. ~nainte de introducerea lor pentru congelare, alimentele fierbin]i se vor r\ci la temperatura camerei. Dac\ u[a congelatorului se deschide greu dup\ ce tocmai a]i `nchis-o, nu v\ `ngrijora]i. Aceasta se datoreaz\ diferen]ei de presiune care se egaleaz\ [i permite u[ii s\ se deschid\ normal dup\ cteva minute. Ve]i auzi un sunet de vid chiar dup\ `nchiderea u[ii. Acesta este normal. Pentru scoaterea co[urilor din compartimentul congelator proceda]i ca `n figura 11.

Sugestii privind a[ezarea alimentelor

Pentru a ob]ine o depozitare [i o igien\ optime, v\ suger\m urm\toarele: ~n frigider se p\streaz\ pentru scurt timp alimente proaspete [i b\uturi. Produsele lactate trebuie p\strate `n compartimentul special de pe interiorul u[ii. Alimentele g\tite trebuie p\strate `n recipiente bine `nchise, nu mai mult de 2-3 zile. Produsele proaspete, ambalate, se pot p\stra pe rafturi. Fructele [i legumele proaspete se depoziteaz\ `n cutia pentru legume. Sticlele se p\streaz\ `n compartimentul special de pe interiorul u[ii.

Pentru a p\stra carnea proasp\t\ pentru cteva zile `n frigider, `mpacheta]i-o `n pungi de polietilen\. Nu o a[eza]i `n contact cu alimentele g\tite. Consumul de energie
Volumul maxim de alimente congelate este atins f\r\ folosirea co[ului din mijloc [i a usi]ei superioare din compartimentul congelator. Consumul de energie al aparatului dumneavoastr\ este declarat avnd compartimentul congelator complet `nc\rcat f\r\ folosirea co[ului din mijloc [i a u[i]ei care acoper\ sertarul superior. Sfaturi practice privind reducerea consumului de energie electric\ electric\ Asigurati-v\ c\ aparatul este amplasat `n zone bine ventilate, departe de orice surs\ de c\ldur\ (aragaz, calorifer etc.). Nu tine]i u[ile aparatului deschise mai mult dect este necesar [i asigura]i-v\ dup\ fiecare deschidere ca aceasta este bine `nchis\.

Aten]ie!
Nu introduce]i n congelator o cantitate prea mare de alimente dintr-o dat\. Calitatea alimentelor se p\streaz\ cel mai bine dac\ sunt congelate `n profunzime ct mai repede posibil. Dozatorul de ap\ ap\
Dozatorul de ap\ este o facilitate foarte important\ pentru a ob]ine ap\ far\ s\ deschide]i u[a frigiderului. Din moment ce nu trebuie s\ deschide]i u[a frigiderului frecvent, face]i economie de electricitate. ap\ Folosirea dozatorului de ap\ Ap\sa]i mnerul dozatorului cu paharul. Prin eliberarea mnerului, opri]i curgerea apei. Cnd folosi]i mnerul, un flux maxim este ob]inut prin ap\sarea total\ a mnerului. Atentie!
Nu umple]i rezervorul de ap\ cu altceva dect ap\ potabil\. B\uturi precum suc de fructe, b\uturi carbogazoase, b\uturi alcoolice, nu sunt potrivite pentru a utiliza dozatorul de ap\. Dac\ asemenea lichide sunt folosite, dozatorul de ap\ va functiona prost, [i ar putea s\ sufere defec]iuni ireparabile. Garan]ia nu acoper\ asemenea practici. (alarm\ Timer (alarm\)

Afi[area timpului la sfr[itulul c\ruia alarma va fi activ\ se realizeaz\ printr-un afi[aj (5). La alimentarea cu tensiune afi[ajul func]iei timer va fi 000 (minute). La ap\sarea butonului Select (1) afi[ajul timer (5) va lic\ri, iar simbolul sonerie (6) va fi activ. Ap\sa]i butonul Adjust (2) pentru a ajunge la valoarea pe care dori]i s\ o memora]i. Valoarea setat\ este memorat\ [i func]ia timer devine activ\ dac\ se apas\ butonul Select sau nu se mai apas\ nici un buton timp de 5 secunde. La sfr[itul timpului selectat, alarma va porni [i un semnal sonor intermitent va fi auzit. Alarma se va opri automat dup\ 5 minute, sau cnd orice buton va fi ap\sat.

Func]ia voice recorder permite `nregistarea de c\tre utilizator a unui mesaj de maxim 60s. Cnd un mesaj este `nregistrat [i nu a fost citit, simbolul grafic plic (8) este activ. Un indicator (9) permite afi[area duratei `nregistr\rii. Pentru a `nregistra un mesaj este necesar men]inerea ap\sat\ a butonului Record (4). Indicatorul (9) va lic\ri, apoi va afi[a durata `nregistrarii, care se va men]ine pn\ la ascultarea mesajului. La ridicarea degetului de pe butonul Record simbolul grafic plic se va Record, activa [i mesajul va r\mne memorat. Pentru a putea asculta un mesaj `nregistrat se apas\ butonul Play (3). Dup\ ascultare, simbolul grafic plic se va stinge, `nsa mesajul va ramane `nregistrat, el mai putnd fi ascultat. ~n timpul ascult\rii mesajului indicatorul va afi[a timpul r\mas pn\ la terminarea mesajului. Dac\ utilizatorul dore[te `ntreruperea mesajului se apas\ butonul Play `nca odat\. ~nregistrarea unui nou mesaj presupune [tergerea celui anterior. La `ntreruperea aliment\rii cu tensiune electric\, sau cnd butonul Record este ap\sat 2s, mesajul inregistrat va fi [ters.

Clock (ceas)
Func]ia clock permite afi[area `n format digital a ceasului. Ap\sarea butonului Select (1) de dou\ ori, va permite modificarea indicatorului ora. Indicatorul va lic\ri 5s, iar valoarea va putea fi selectat\ folosind butonul Adjust (2). Ap\sarea `nc\ odat\ a butonului Select permite trecerea la cmpul minute. Ora selectat\ va fi memorat\, iar indicatorul minute va lic\ri. Modificarea valorilor pentru campul minute se face tot cu butonul Adjust Validarea modific\rii se face Adjust. ap\snd butonul Select. Dac\, dup\ modificarea Select orei sau minutelor, butonul Select nu este Select ap\sat, valoarea modificat\ nu va fi salvata. 9

Aten]ie! Nu folosi]i obiecte metalice ascu]ite pentru a `ndep\rta ghea]a, deoarece risca]i perforarea vaporizatorului. Nu folosi]i usc\toare de p\r sau alte aparate electrice de `nc\lzit pentru dezghe]are. Dup\ topirea ghe]ii, elimina]i apa cu o crp\ sau un burete, dup\ care usca]i bine (fig 8 [i 9).

frigider Compartimentul frigider

Dezghe]area este complet automat\ [i se produce `n timpul fiec\rei perioade de oprire a motocompresorului comandat\ de termostat. Nu este necesar\ nici o interven]ie din partea Dvs. Apa provenit\ din dezghe]are este colectat\ `ntr-o t\vi]\ situat\ pe compresor, unde se evapor\ datorit\ c\ldurii generate `n timpul func]ion\rii acestuia. Aten]ie ! P\stra]i curat colectorul [i furtunul de scurgere a apei rezultat\ dup\ dezghe]are. Pentru aceasta folosi]i piesa pentru desfundat aflat\ `n dotarea aparatului (fig. 6). Verifica]i ca furtunul s\ fie permanent cu cap\tul `n interiorul t\vi]ei colectoare de pe motocompresor pentru a preveni scurgerea apei peste instala]ia electric\ sau pe pardoseal\ (fig. 7).

Cur\ interioar\ Cur\]area interioar\

~nainte de `nceperea opera]iei de cur\]are, deconecta]i aparatul de la re]ea. Se recomand\ s\ cur\]a]i aparatul cu ocazia dezghe]\rii acestuia. Sp\la]i interiorul cu ap\ c\ldu]\ `n care ad\uga]i un detergent neutru. Nu folosi]i s\pun, detergent, benzin\ sau aceton\ care pot l\sa un miros persistent. {terge]i cu un burete ud [i usca]i cu o crp\ moale. ~n timpul acestei opera]ii, evita]i excesul de ap\ pentru a `mpiedica p\trunderea ei `n izola]ia termic\ a aparatului, fapt ce ar provoca apari]ia mirosurilor nepl\cute. Ave]i grij\ s\ nu intre ap\ `n cutia pentru lampa de iluminare interioar\ ! Odat\ terminat\ cur\]area, conecta]i aparatul la re]ea. Nu uita]i s\ cur\]a]i garniturile de la u[i, mai ales nervurile burdufului, cu o crp\ curat\.

Compartimentul congelator
V\ recomand\m s\ dezghe]a]i compartimentul congelator cel pu]in de dou\ ori pe an sau cnd stratul de ghea]\ are o grosime excesiv\. ~nainte de dezghe]are, pune]i butonul de reglare a termostatului pe pozi]ia superioar\ pentru ca alimentele s\ `nmagazineze un plus de frig. ~n acest timp temperatura frigiderului nu trebuie s\ fie prea sc\zut\. - Debran[a]i aparatul de la re]ea. - Scoate]i apoi alimentele congelate, `nf\[ura]ile `n mai multe coli de hrtie [i a[eza]i-le `ntr-un loc r\coros. - L\sa]i u[a deschis\ pentru o dezghe]are rapid\ [i plasa]i vase cu ap\ cald\ (max. 800C) `n interior. Form area ghe]ii este un fenomen normal. Cantitatea [i rapiditatea de acumulare depinde de condi]iile ambientale [i de frecven]a deschiderii u[ii. Acumularea ghe]ii, `n special `n partea superioar\ a compartimentului, este un fenomen natural [i nu `mpiedic\ buna func]ionare a aparatului. Se recomand\ efectuarea dezghe]\rii, cnd cantitatea de alimente congelate este minim\.

Cur\ exterioar erioar\ Cur\]area exterioar\

Cur\]a]i exteriorul aparatului folosind un burete `nmuiat `n ap\ cald\ cu s\pun, apoi [terge]i cu o crp\ moale [i uscat\. Cur\]area p\r]ii exterioare a circuitului frigorific (motocompresor, condensator, tubulatur\ de leg\tur\) se va face cu o perie moale sau aspiratorul. ~n timpul acestei opera]ii ave]i grij\ s\ nu deforma]i tubulatura sau s\ smulge]i cablajul. Nu folosi]i prafuri de cur\]at sau materiale abrazive ! Odat\ terminat\ cur\]area, pune]i accesoriile la locul lor [i conecta]i aparatul la re]ea.

~nlocuirea becului interior

(fig.10) Dac\ becul nu mai func]ioneaz\, este u[or de schimbat. ~n primul rnd, asigura]i-v\ c\ aparatul este scos din priz\. Lua]i o surubelni]\ plat\ [i pozi]iona]i-o cu grij\, f\r\ a for]a, `n spa]iul liber din stnga, dintre capota lamp\ [i 10

interiorul dulapului. Apoi ap\sa]i pe mnerul [urubelni]ei, cu aten]ie, spre stnga, pn\ observa]i c\ pinul din stnga al capotei s-a eliberat. Repeta]i aceast\ opera]ie `n spa]iul liber din dreapta, dar acum ap\sa]i cu grij\ mnerul [urubelni]ei spre dreapta. Dac\ ambele p\r]i au fost deta[ate, capota se poate scoate u[or. Asigura]i-v\ c\ becul este `n[urubat corect. Conecta]i aparatul. Dac\ becul tot nu se aprinde, `nlocui]i-l cu altul model E14-15W. Dac\ a]i schimbat becul, pune]i la loc capota `n pozi]ia ini]ial\. Ave]i grij\, capota trebuie s\ se fixeze corect.

Informa]ii `n leg\tur\ cu zgomotele [i leg\tur\ vibra]iile ce pot ap\rea `n timpul ap\ func]ion\rii aparatului func]ion\
1. Zgomotul de func]ionare se poate accentua `n timpul func]ion\rii. - Pentru men]inerea temperaturilor la temperatura reglat\, motocompresorul aparatului porne[te periodic. Zgomotul produs de motocompresor devine mai puternic la pornirea acestuia iar la oprire se aude un clinchet. - Caracteristicile de performan]\ [i func]ionare ale aparatului se pot schimba `n func]ie de modific\rile de temperatur\ ale mediului ambiant. Aceste lucruri trebuie considerate ca ceva normal. 2. Zgomote care dau senza]ia de lichide care curg sau sunt pulverizate - Aceste zgomote sunt determinate de fluxul agentului frigorific `n circuitul aparatului [i sunt conforme cu principiul de func]ionare ale aparatului. 3. Alte vibra]ii [i zgomote. - Nivelul de zgomot [i vibra]ii poate fi cauzat de tipul [i aspectul podelei pe care este a[ezat aparatul. Asigurati-v\ ca podeaua nu prezint\ denivel\ri pronun]ate sau poate ceda sub greutatea aparatului (este flexibil\). - O alt\ surs\ de zgomot [i vibra]ii sunt obiectele a[ezate pe aparat. Aceste obiecte trebuie `ndepartate de pe aparat. - Sticlele [i vasele a[ezate `n frigider care se ating `ntre ele. ~n aceste cazuri deplasa]i sticlele [i vasele astfel `nct `ntre ele s\ fie o mic\ distan]\. Alimentele vin `n contact cu peretele r\cit. Formarea excesiv\ de ghea]\ `n compartimentul congelator U[a nu a fost `nchis\ `n mod corect. U[a nu se `nchide din cauza alimentelor. Nu trebuie considerate anomalii Faptul c\ partea anterioar\ a compartimentului congelator este cald\. Aceasta este realizat\ `n mod inten]ionat, pentru a preveni formarea condensului pe partea exterioar\ a aparatului (datorit\ umidit\]ii din buc\t\rie). 11

Congratulations on your choice of a Quality Appliance, designed to give you many years of service.

Safety first!
Do not connect your appliance to the electricity supply until all packing and transit protectors have been removed. Leave to stand for at least 4 hours before switching on, to allow compressor oil to settle, if transported horizontally. If you are discarding an old appliance with a lock or latch fitted to the door, ensure that it is left in a safe condition to prevent the entrapment of children. This appliance must only be used for its intended purpose. Do not dispose of the appliance on a fire. Your appliance contains non CFC substances in the insulation which are flammable. We suggest you contact your local authority for information on disposal and available facilities. We do not recommend use of this appliance in an unheated, cold room. (e.g. garage, conservatory, annex, shed, out-house etc.) To obtain the best possible performance and trouble free operation from your appliance it is very important to read these instructions carefully. Electrical requirements
Before inserting the plug into the wall socket make sure that the voltage and the frequency shown in the rating plate inside the appliance corresponds to your electricity supply. We recommend that this appliance is connected to the mains supply via a suitably switched and fused socket in a readily accessible position. Warning! This appliance must be earthed. Repairs to electrical equipment should only be performed by a qualified technician. Incorrect repairs carried out by an unqualified person are carry risks that may have critical consequences for the user of the appliance. ATTENTION! This appliance operates with R 600a which is an environmental friendly but flammable gas. During the transportation and fixing of the product, care must be taken not to damage the cooling system. If the cooling system is damaged and there is a gas leakage from the system, keep the product away from open flame sources and ventilate the room for a while. WARNING - Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, others than those recommended by the manufacturer. WARNING - Do not damage the refrigerant circuit. 3. Failure to comply with the above instructions could result in damage to the appliance, for which the manufacturer will not be held liable. 4. The appliance must be protected against rain, moisture and other atmospheric influences. Important! Care must be taken while cleaning/carrying the appliance not to touch the bottom of the condenser metal wires at the back of the appliance, as this could cause injury to fingers and hands. Do not attempt to sit or stand on top of your appliance as it is not designed for such use. You could injure yourself or damage the appliance. Make sure that the mains cable is not caught under the appliance during and after moving, as this could damage the cable. Installation instructions
1. Do not keep your appliance in a room where the temperature is likely to fall below 10 degrees C (50 degrees F) at night and/or especially in winter, as it is designed to operate in ambient temperatures between +10 and +38 degrees C (50 and 107 degrees F). At lower temperatures the appliance may not operate, resulting in a reduction in the storage life of the food. 2. Do not place the appliance near cookers or radiators or in direct sunlight, as this will cause extra strain on the appliance's functions. If installed next to a source of heat or freezer, maintain the following minimum side clearances: From Cookers 30 mm From Radiators 300 mm From Freezers 25 mm 3. Make sure that sufficient room is provided around the appliance to ensure free air circulation (Item 2). Transportation instructions
1. The appliance should be transported only in an upright position. Before the performance of the working test in the shop, the packing of the appliance must be intact. 2. If during the transport the appliance, has been positioned horizontally, it must not be operated for at least 4 hours, to allow the system to settle.

4. The appliance should be positioned on a smooth surface. The two front feet can be adjusted as required.To ensure that your appliance is standing upright adjust the two front feet by turning clockwise or anticlockwise, until firm contact is secured with the floor. Correct adjustment of feet prevents excessive vibration and noise (Item 4). 5. Refer to "Cleaning and Care" section to prepare your appliance for use.

4. Cooked dishes should be stored in airtight containers. 5. Fresh wrapped produce can be kept on the shelf. Fresh fruit and vegetables should be cleaned and stored in the crispers. 6. Bottles can be kept in the door section. 7. To store raw meat, wrap in polythene bags and place on the lowest shelf. Do not allow to come into contact with cooked food, to avoid contamination. For safety, only store raw meat for two to three days. 8. For maximum efficiency, the removable shelves should not be covered with paper or other materials to allow free circulation of cool air. 9. Do not keep vegetable oil on door shelves. Keep the food packed, wrapped or covered. Allow hot food and beverages to cool before refrigerating. Leftover canned food should not be stored in the can. 10. Fizzy drinks should not be frozen and products such as flavoured water ices should not be consumed too cold. 11. Some fruit and vegetables suffer damage if kept at temperatures near 0 Therefore C. wrap pineapples, melons, cucumbers, tomatoes and similar produce in polythene bags. 12. High-proof alcohol must be stored upright in tightly closed containers. Never store products that contain an inflammable propellant gas (e.g. cream dispensers, spray cans, etc.) or explosive substances. These are an explosion hazard. 13. To take out the baskets from the freezer compartment please proceed as in item 11. Blue light technology Foodstuff stored in the crispers that are enlightened with a blue light continue their photosynthesis by means of the wavelength effect of blue light and thus, preserve their freshness and increase their vitamin content. Beko installed two blue LEDs continue working even when the door is closed. The LEDs activate your fruit and vegetables natural defences and stops them losing vitamins.

Guidelines for obtaining optimum storage and hygiene: 1. The fridge compartment is for the shortterm storage of fresh food and drinks. 2. The freezer compartment is rated and suitable for the freezing and storage of pre-frozen food. The recommendation for storage as stated on the food packaging should be observed at all times. 3. Dairy products should be stored in the special compartment provided in the door liner.

Temperature control and adjustment
Operating temperatures are controlled by the thermostat knob (Item 5) and may be set at any position between 1 and 5 (the coldest position). The average temperature inside the fridge should be around +5 (+41 C F). Therefore adjust the thermostat to obtain the desired temperature. Some sections of the fridge may be cooler or warmer (such as salad crisper and top part of the cabinet) which is quite normal. We recommend that you check the temperature periodically with a thermometer to ensure that the cabinet is kept to this temperature. Frequent door openings cause internal temperatures to rise, so it is advisable to close the door as soon as possible after use. The fan provides the uniformity of temperatures inside the refrigerator.

8. Do not load the appliance immediately it is switched on. Wait until the correct storage temperature has been reached. We recommend checking the temperature with an accurate thermometer (see; Temperature Control and Adjustment).

Storing frozen food

Your freezer is suitable for the long-term storage of commercially frozen foods and also can be used to freeze and store fresh food. If there is a power failure, do not open the door. Frozen food should not be affected if the failure lasts for less than 18 hrs. If the failure is longer, then the food should be checked and either eaten immediately or cooked and then re-frozen.

Freezing fresh food

Please observe the following instructions to obtain the best results. Do not freeze too large a quantity at any one time. The quality of the food is best preserved when it is frozen right through to the core as quickly as possible. Do not exceed the freezing capacity of your appliance in 24 h. Placing warm food into the freezer compartment causes the refrigeration machine to operate continously until the food is frozen solid. This can temporarily lead to excessive cooling of the refrigeration compartment. When freezing fresh food, keep the thermostat knob at medium position. Small quantities of food up to 1/2 kg. (1 lb) can be frozen without adjusting the temperature control knob. Take special care not to mix already frozen food and fresh food.

Before operating
Final Check Before you start using the appliance check that: 1. The feet have been adjusted for perfect levelling. 2. The interior is dry and air can circulate freely at the rear. 3. The interior is clean as recommended under "Cleaning and care. 4. The plug has been inserted into the wall socket and the electricity is switched on. When the door is open the interior light will come on. And note that: 5. You will hear a noise as the compressor starts up. The liquid and gases sealed within the refrigeration system may also make some (noise), whether the compressor is running or not. This is quite normal. 6. Slight undulation of the top of the cabinet is quite normal due to the manufacturing process used; it is not a defect. 7. We recommend setting the thermostat knob midway and monitor the temperature to ensure the appliance maintains desired storage temperatures (See section Temperature Control and Adjustment). 17

Making ice cubes
Fill the ice - cube tray 3/4 full with water and place it in the freezer. Loosen frozen trays with a spoon handle or a similar implement; never use sharp-edged objects such as knives or forks.

Instruction for use

Do not use pointed or sharp-edged objects, such as knives or forks to remove the frost. Never use hairdryers, electrical heaters or other such electrical appliances for defrosting. Sponge out the defrost water collected in the bottom of the freezer compartment. After defrosting, dry the interior thoroughly (Item 8 & 9). Insert the plug into the wall socket and switch on the electricity supply.

Defrosting
A) Fridge compartment The fridge compartment defrosts automatically. The defrost water runs to the drain tube via a collection container at the back of the appliance (Item 6). During defrosting, water droplets may form at the back of the fridge compartment where a concealed evaporator is located. Some droplets may remain on the liner and refreeze when defrosting is completed. Do not use pointed or sharp-edged objects such as knives or forks to remove the droplets which have refrozen. If, at any time, the defrost water does not drain from the collection channel, check that no food particles have blocked the drain tube. The drain tube can be cleared with a pipecleaner or similar implement. Check that the tube is permanently placed with its end in the collecting tray on the compressor to prevent the water spilling on the electric installation or on the floor (Item 7). B) Freezer compartment Defrosting is very straightforward and without mess, thanks to a special defrost collection basin. Defrost twice a year or when a frost layer of around 7 (1/4") mm has formed. To start the defrosting procedure, switch off the appliance at the socket outlet and pull out the mains plug. All food should be wrapped in several layers of newspaper and stored in a cool place (e.g. fridge or larder). Containers of warm water may be placed carefully in the freezer to speed up the defrosting.

Replacing the interior light bulb

(Item 10) In case that the light bulb is out of function it is easily to replace. First make sure that the refrigerator / freezer is disconnected from the power supply by removing the plug. Take a flat screwdriver and keep it carefully without force into the left gap between lamp cover and internal cabinet. Then press the handle of the screwdriver carefully to the left side until you notice that the left pin of the cover is disengaged . Repeat this procedure on the right gap, however now press the handle of the screwdriver carefully to the right side. If both sides are loosened the cover can be removed easily. Ensure that bulb is screwed securely in the bulb holder. Plug the appliance into the power supply. If the light still fails, replace E14 screw-cap type 15 Watt (Max) bulb from your local electrical store and then fit it. Carefully dispose of the burnt-out light bulb immediately. If you have changed the light bulb please fix the cover again in its former position. Take care that the cover snaps-in correctly.

Water dispenser
Water dispenser is a very useful feature to obtain chilled water without opening the door of your fridge. Since you do not have to open the door of your fridge frequently, you also save on electricity. Using the water dispenser Push in the lever of the water dispenser with your glass. By releasing the lever, you cut off the dispensing. When operating the water dispenser, maximum flow is achieved by fully depressing the lever. Please note, how much water flows from the dispenser depends on how far you depress the lever. As the level of water in your cup / glass rises, gently reduce the amount of pressure on the lever to avoid overflow. If you depress the lever a small amount, then water will trickle; this is perfectly normal and is not a fault. Filling in the water tank of water dispenser Open the cap of the water tank as illustrated in the figure. Fill in with pure and clean drinking water. dose the cap. To avoid accidental water dispensing we recommend you to lock the water dispenser. [See Page 20] Caution! Do not fill water tank with any liquid other than drinking water; beverages such as fruit juice, carbonated fizzy soda drinks, alcoholic drinks are not suitable for use with water dispenser. If such liquids are used, the water dispenser will malfunction and may be damaged beyond repair. The guarantee does not cover such uses. Some chemical ingredients and additives in such drinks / beverages may also attack and damage water tank material. Only use clean pure drinking water. Capacity of water dispenser tank is 2.2 litres [3.8 pints], do not overfill. Push the water dispenser lever with a rigid cup. If you are using a plastic disposable cup, then push the lever with your fingers from behind the cup. Safety lock is supplied for your convenience when filling the water tank and also to avoid small children tampering with the water dispenser. [See Page 20]

Cleaning the water tank

Instruction for use

Remove the water tank, open the latches on both sides and detach the top cover mechanism from the water tank. Clean the water tank with warm clean water, reinstall the top cover mechanism and fasten the latches. When installing the water tank, make sure that hooks behind it fits securely into the hangers on the door. Make sure that parts removed during cleaning (if any) are installed correctly into their original locations. Otherwise, water may leak. Important: Water tank and components of water dispenser are not dishwasher-proof. The follow ing information is valid only for the water dispensers endow ed w ith lock You may use the lock in order to avoid small children tampering with the water dispenser. To do this, slide the locking latch from left to right as illustrated in the figure. You must slide the latch back to left position in order to use the water dispenser. Water tray Water that drips while using the water dispenser accumulates in the drip tray. Remove the drip tray by pulling it towards yourself and empty it from time to time. Remove the plastic drainer part as shown in the diagram by pressing down on the edge. Remove the water valve from the water tank as shown in the diagram. When re-fitting, make sure the O-shaped seal is in place.

Voice Recorder
is a compact electronic module, placed on the upper door, covered by a plastic case. The main functions are voice recorder, clock and alarm. 1. Select - allows to chose a function 2. Adjust - modifies values for the selected function 3. Play - plays a previously recorded message 4. Record - allows to record a message 5. Timer counter display 6. Bell graphic sign 7. Clock display 8. Graphic sign for Voice Recorder 9. Voice recorder display 10. Microphone / speaker Timer (alarm) The display of the time at the end of which the alarm will be active is indicated by a display (5). After power is on, the value of the timer is set at 000 minute. When Select button is pressed, timer counter(5) digits will blink and the ring bell (6)sign will be on. Press Adjust (2) button until you reach the value you want to memorise. Selected value is memorised and timer function becomes active if Select button is pressed or no other button will be pressed for 5 seconds. When the time is elapsed, the alarm will be on and an intermittent sound will be heard. The alarm will automatically stop after 5 minutes, or when any button will be pressed. Clock The clock function allows to display time in electronic mode. If Select button (1) is pressed twice, then hour can be adjusted. The hour digits will blink for 5 s and value can be changed using Adjust button (2). If Select button is pressed one more time, selected value for hour is stored and minute digits will blink. Minute value can be modified by pressing the Adjust button. The selected value is stored, only if Select button is pressed. If after the modification of the hour or minutes the Select button is not pressed, the adjusted value will not be saved. 21

Voice recorder The Voice recorder function allows the user to record a max 60 s message. A 30 s default message is available when power is on, or when the recorded message was deleted. Envelope sign (8) indicates that a new message is in memory and it was not read. When a message is recorded and it was not read, the graphic sygn envelope (8) is active. A counter (9) displays the duration of the record. To record a message it is required to keep pressed the Record button (4). Counter digits (9) will blink then it will display the duration of the record, which will remain until listening the message. When Record button is released, the envelope sign will be active and the recorded message will be stored. To listen a recorded message it is necessary to press the Play button (3). After message was played, envelope sign will be off, but recorded message will not be deleted and can be listened again. When the message is listened the seconds counter will display the remaining time until the message is finished. If the user wants to stop listening the Play button will be pressed again. When a new message is recorded the previous one will be erased. If a power cut occurs, or Record button is pressed for 2 s, then the recorded message is deleted.

Cleaning and care
1. We recommend that you switch off the appliance at the socket outlet and pull out the mains plug before cleaning. 2. Never use any sharp instruments or abrasive substances, soap, household cleaner, detergent or wax polish for cleaning. 3. Use luke warm water to clean the cabinet of the appliance and wipe it dry. 4. Use a damp cloth wrung out in a solution of one teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda to one pint of water to clean the interior and wipe it dry. 5. Make sure that no water enters the temperature control box. 6. If the appliance is not going to be used for a long period of time, switch it off, remove all food, clean it and leave the door ajar. 7. We recommend that you polish the metal parts of the product (i.e. door exterior, cabinet sides) with a silicone wax (car polish) to protect the high quality paint finish. 8. Any dust that gathers on the condenser, which is located at the back of the appliance, should be removed once a year with a vacuum cleaner. 9. Check door seals regularly to ensure they areclean and free from food particles. 10. Never: Clean the appliance with unsuitable material; eg petroleum based products. Subject it to high temperatures in any way, Scour, rub etc., with abrasive material. 11. Removal of dairy cover and door tray : To remove the dairy cover, first lift the cover up by about an inch and pull it off from the side where there is an opening on the cover. To remove a door tray, remove all the contents and then simply push the door tray upwards from the base. 12. Make sure that the special plastic container at the back of the appliance which collects defrost water is clean at all times. If you want to remove the tray to clean it, follow the instructions below: Switch off at the socket outlet and pull out the mains plug Gently uncrimp the stud on the compressor, using a pair of pliers, so that the tray can be removed Lift it up. Clean and wipe it dry Reassemble, reversing the sequence and 22 operations

Energy consuption
Maximum frozen food storage volume is achieved without using the upper shelf cover provided in the freezer compartment. Energy consumption of your appliance is declared while the freezer compartment is fully loaded without the use of the upper shelf cover. Practical advice concerning the reduction of the electricity consumption 1. Make sure that the appliance is located in well-ventilated areas, far from any source of heat (cooker, radiator etc.). At the same time, the location of the appliance must be done in such a way that it prevents it to be under the direct incidence of the sunbeams. 2. Make sure that the food purchased in refrigerated/frozen condition is placed into the appliance as soon as possible, especially during summertime. It is recommended to use thermal insulated bags to transport the food home. 3. We recommend the thawing of the packets taken out from the freezer compartment be done in the refrigerator compartment. For this purpose, the packet which is going to be thawed will be placed in a vessel so that the water resulting from the thawing does not leak in the refrigerator compartment. We recommend you to start the thawing at least 24 hours before the use of the frozen food. 4. We recommend reducing the number of door openings to the minimum. 5. Do not keep the door of the appliance open more than necessary and make sure that after each opening the door is well closed.

Reversing the doors

The door of your refrigerator is designed to operate towards both sides at your convenience. If you want the door to open towards the other side, please call the nearest authorized maintenance service for assistance.

Do- Always choose high quality fresh food and be sure it is thoroughly clean before you freeze it. Do- Prepare fresh food for freezing in small portions to ensure rapid freezing. Do- Wrap all food in aluminium foil or freezer quality polythene bags and make sure any air is excluded. Do- Wrap frozen food immediately after purchasing and put it in to the freezer as soon as possible. Do- Defrost food in the fridge compartment.

Dont- Store bananas in your fridge compartment. Dont- Store melon in your fridge. It can be chilled for short periods as long as it is wrapped to prevent it flavouring other food. Dont- Cover the shelves with any protective materials which may obstruct air circulation. Dont- Store poisonous or any dangerous substances in your appliance. It has been designed for the storage of edible foodstuffs only. Dont- Consume food which has been refrigerated for an excessive length of time. Dont- Store cooked and fresh food together in the same container. They should be packaged and stored separately. Dont- Let defrosting food or food juices drip onto food. Dont- Leave the door open for long periods, as this will make the appliance more costly to run and cause excessive ice formation. Dont- Try to keep frozen food which has thawed; it should be eaten within 24 hours or cooked and refrozen. Dont- Remove items from the freezer with wet hands.

Information concerning the noise and the vibrations which might appear during the operation of the appliance
1. The operation noise can increase during the operation. - In order to keep the temperatures at the adjusted temperatures, the compressor of the appliance starts periodically. The noise produced by the compressor becomes stronger when it starts and a click can be heard when it stops. - The performance and operation features of the appliance can change according to the modifications of the temperature of the ambient environment. They must be considered as normal. 2. Noises like liquids flowing or as being sprayed - These noises are caused by the flow of the refrigerant in the circuit of the appliance and comply with the operation principle of the appliance. 3. Other vibrations and noises. - The level of noise and vibrations can be caused by the type and the aspect of the floor on which the appliance is placed. Make sure that the floor does not have significant level distortions or if it can yield to the weight of the appliance (it is flexible). - Another source of noise and vibrations is represented by the objects placed on the appliance. These objects must be removed from the appliance - The bottles and the vessels placed in the refrigerator touching each other. In such cases move the bottles and the vessels so that there is a small distance between them.

Trouble - shooting
If the appliance does not operate when switched on, check; That the plug is inserted properly in the socket and that the power supply is on. (To check the power supply to the socket, plug in another appliance) Whether the fuse has blown/circuit breaker has tripped/main distribution switch has been turned off. That the temperature control has been set correctly. That the new plug is wired correctly, if you have changed the fitted, moulded plug.
