maanniiaann AAbbssttrraacctt:: În ultima perioadă de timp a existat o dezvoltare explozivă a comunicaţiilor mobile, utilizarea aparaturii radar în aviaţie, utilizarea aparaturii medicale RMN şi CT, utilizarea cuptoarelor cu microunde în industria
alimentară sau în scopuri casnice, diverse aparate electronice utilizate în industrie, cercetare ştiinţifică având ca scop oferirea de viteză, siguranţă şi comoditate. Dar aceste tehnologii au declanşat un set de întrebări privind efectele asupra
sănătăţii organismului uman asociate utilizării lor: evaluarea riscului asociat utilizării telefoanelor portabile, a locuirii timp îndelungat în vecinătatea liniilor electrice şi a utilizării instalaţiilor RADAR portabile folosite de poliţie. La ora
actuală în România nu există studii aprofundate privind iradierea populaţiei cu unde electromagnetice, iar hazardul asociat utilizării telefoanelor mobile face dificilă posibilitatea unui studiu.
EEnngglliisshh AAbbssttrraacctt:: Lately there was an explosive development of mobile communications, the use of radar equipment in aviation, the use of medical devices as MRI and CT, the use of microwave ovens in the food industry or household
purposes, different electronic devices used in industry, scientific research aiming to provide speed, safety and comfort. But these technologies have raised up a set of questions regarding the effects on the human body associated with
their use: the risk assessment associated to the use of portable telephones, long time living near by the power lines and use of portable radar installations by police. Nowadays in Romania there are no comprehensive studies on
electromagnetic irradiation of population and the hazard associated to using mobile phones makes difficult a study opportunity.
