Anul XIV, nr. 6(138)/2016
regulations with IFRS
6/2016
auditului în statele membre ale Uniunii Europene;
Directivei;
è Restriciile privind serviciile de non-audit;
è Rotaia obligatorie a firmelor de audit;
è Reflectarea prevederilor Regulamentului și Directivei în legislaia naională;
mediul de afaceri;
activitatea de audit;

The transposition of Regulation No. 537/2014 and
of European Directive 2014/56/EU in the European Union countries
2015 was a year of debate on the transposition of Regulation No. 537/2014 regarding statutory
audit of public interest entities and of European Directive 2014/56/EU on statutory audits of
annual accounts and consolidated accounts. The new regulations will come into force in June
and will bring significant changes for both the audit profession and the public interest. In this
context, the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania launches an invitation to researchers
for submission of papers that address issues related to implementation of the Regulation and
the Directive in the European Union countries.
Papers will be peer reviewed for publication in the journal Audit Financiar. The journal is
currently indexed in several international databases: Cabell's, DOAJ, Ebsco, ERIH PLUS,
ProQuest, RePEc and Ulrich's.
Examples of research topics (the list is not exhaustive):
è The relationship between auditing professional bodies and oversight bodies in the
member states of the European Union;
è Changing audit report following the implementation of the Regulation and Directive;
è Restrictions on non-audit services;
è Mandatory rotation of audit firms;
è Reflecting the provisions of the Regulation and the Directive into national law;
è Forecasts of how the implementation of the Regulation and Directive will affect
business;
è Comparisons between the EU member states or between EU and non-EU states related
to auditing;
è Financing the oversight activity and its impact on auditors and business environment.
The topics can be approached theoretically or empirically. Papers will be submitted until
September 1, 2016 at revista@cafr.ro in Microsoft Word format according to the instructions
on the website revista.cafr.ro.
The peer review of the articles will be undertaken by researchers and professionals with
experience in auditing, from Romania and abroad. The decision of acceptance or rejection of
the work will be sent to the authors within two months of receipt.
