Cadrul general al cursului

Globalizarea şi integrarea europeană au devenit parte a discursului public cotidian şi, tocmai de aceea, această zonă este de multe ori încărcată de
clişee şi judecăţi superficiale. Cursul pe care îl propunem trece de zona comodă a frazeologiei şi atinge atât problemele fundamentale, cât şi
controversele care însoţesc globalizarea.
Cursul de Globalizare îşi propune să ofere studenţilor două categorii de instrumente de lucru pentru înţelegerea realităţii lumii din ce în ce mai
integrate în care trăim. Prima categorie este constituită de aparatul teoretic şi conceptual necesar pentru studierea sistematică a proceselor specifice
globalizării. A doua categorie de instrumente este aplicativă şi cuprinde studii de caz şi exemple relevante.

Criterii de evaluare
Nota finală la cursul GIE reprezintă o medie între nota de la seminar şi nota de la examenul final.
Nota de la seminar va fi obţinută pe baza realizării unui studiu de caz dedicat unei probleme relevante pentru cursul de Globalizare. Participarea
activă a studenților la activitățile de seminar este o condiție necesară pentru intrarea în examen.
Evaluarea finală se va desfăşura sub forma unui examen scris, ale cărui componente le vor fi prezentate studenţilor în timpul semestrului.
Condiţii de participare
Prezență la minim 6 cursuri și minim 4 seminarii. Participarea activă la seminar.

Condiţii de promovare
Definirea corectă a conceptelor de bază ale fiecărei teme, recunoaşterea principalelor teorii şi paradigme şi a principalelor metode de cercetare.
Obținerea notei 5 la fiecare din cele două probe (studiu de caz și examen scris).
Condiții de participare la restanță sau reexaminare
Pentru obținerea notei de trecere la restanță studentul trebuie să aibă notă de trecere la studiul de caz (care reprezintă nota de seminar) și notă de
trecere la examenul scris. Se mențin cerințele din timpul semestrului atât pentru studiul de caz, cât și pentru examenul scris.

Teme posibile pentru studiul de caz:

1. Răspunsuri locale la provocări globale. Cazul ţării x

2. Rolul statului în definirea şi susţinerea strategiilor de dezvoltare. Cazul ţării x
3. Criza lumii dezvoltate e criza modelului de dezvoltare
4. Criza financiară în SUA. Implicaţiile sale asupra raportului de forţe între SUA şi China
5. Redefinirea puterii în epoca actuală. Putere militară, demografică, economică, tehnologică, soft
6. Financializarea și dezvoltarea complexului financiar-politic
7. Rolul corporaţiilor în evoluţia economică a ţării x
8. Socialism de piaţă, capitalism chinez. Implicaţiile redefinirii socialismului asupra strategiei de dezvoltare a Chinei
9. Crizele suprapuse ale Europei
10. Clustere de cercetare şi inovare
11. Importanţa pieţei interne în raport cu piaţa mondială, în contextul crizei economice. Cazul Indiei, cazul Chinei
12. Consecinţele geopolitice ale situaţiei energetice actuale
13. Implicaţii ale evoluţiei demografice asupra dezvoltării economice
14. Transferul de putere şi influenţă către economiile emergente
15. BRICS, MINT și tendințe de lungă durată în lumea emergentă

În ultimele seminarii studenţii își vor prezenta studiul de caz. Programarea prezentărilor se face pe baza rezumatelor trimise de fiecare echipă pe
grupul masteratului. Rezumatele vor cuprinde: tema, cuprinsul, componența echipei, distribuția sarcinilor în echipă și un paragraf de 150 de cuvinte
care să prezinte ideea principală a lucrării. Termen pentru încărcarea rezumatelor pe grup: 14.11.2019. Prezentarea, care va dura 15-20 de minute,
va fi însoţită de o prezentare Powerpoint. Pe baza feed-back-ului obţinut la prezentare studenţii vor redacta studiul de caz în formă finală.
Studiul de caz trebuie predat până pe 27 ianuarie 2020, la adresa malina.ciocea@comunicare.ro.
Studiul va fi întocmit de echipe de 5 studenţi. Lucrarea va avea în jur de 25 de pagini şi va fi organizată şi redactată conform indicaţiilor de la linkul:

Bibliografia lucrării va cuprinde cel puţin 5 cărţi fundamentale, cel puţin 10 articole relevante pentru temă şi cel puţin 5 resurse web. Studenţii se vor
consulta cu asistentul cursului în privinţa temelor şi bibliografiei.

Pregătire pentru examenul scris

Consultații (opțional, la cerere): joia, de la 17.30 la 18.15, etajul 5.

La orice nivel al procedurii de notare, plagiatul sau copiatul vor avea drept consecinţă nota finală 4.
Studenţii trebuie să se asigure că sursele documentare utilizate, inclusiv cele preluate de pe Internet, sunt indicate în lucrare, cu respectarea regulilor
de evitare a plagiatului:
 toate fragmentele de text reproduse exact, chiar şi în traducere proprie din altă limbă, sunt scrise între ghilimele şi deţin referinţa precisă
a sursei;
 reformularea în cuvinte proprii a textelor scrise de către alţi autori deţine referinţa precisă;
 codul sursă, imagini etc. preluate din proiecte open-source sau alte surse sunt utilizate cu respectarea drepturilor de autor şi deţin referinţe
precise;
 rezumarea ideilor altor autori precizează referinţa la textul original.
