The impact of ethics in higher education and research,
activities with high public visibility, determines a
coordinated approach both at the national level,
through the line Ministries, respectively through their
consultative councils - University Ethics and
Management Council (CEMU) and National Council of
Ethics for Scientific Research, Technological
Development and Innovation (CNECSTDI) – as well as
at the level of higher education institutions through
university ethics commissions.
The conference organisers want the debates and
research on ethics, especially academic ethics, in the
context of new challenges posed by the pandemic and
new trends in the field, combined in an
interdisciplinary scientific approach, to facilitate the
exchange of good interinstitutional practices among
participants.
By bringing together in the specially organized
workshop the presidents of university ethics
committees and legal advisers from universities in the
presence of representatives of the CEMU and
CNECSTDI, it is desirable to identify the solutions
needed to harmonize the legislative framework in the
field.
The special events associated with this conference,
namely the presentation and launch for public
consultation by CEMU of the National Reference Code of
Ethics and University Ethics and the presentation and
launch of the Journal of Ethics and Deontology under
the auspices of Pro Universitaria publishing house, will
give an exceptionally professional and scientific
character of this event.
The Conference will take part at the Transilvania
University of Brasov between the 3rd and 5th of June,
2021.

Impactul eticii în activitățile de educație și cercetare
din învățământul superior, activități cu o mare
vizibilitate publică, determină o abordare coordonată
atât la nivel național, prin Ministerele de resort,
respectiv prin consiliile lor consultative - Consiliul de
Etică și Management Universitar (CEMU) și Consiliul
Național de Etică pentru Cercetare Științifică,
Dezvoltare Tehnologică și Inovare (CNECSTDI) – cât și
la nivelul instituțiilor de învățământ superior prin
comisiile de etică universitare.
Organizatorii conferinței doresc ca dezbaterile și
cercetările privind etica, și în special etica academică,
în contextul noilor provocări generate de pandemie și
a noilor tendințe în domeniu, combinate într-o
abordare științifică interdisciplinară, să faciliteze
schimbul de bune practici interinstituționale între
participanți.
Nu în ultimul rând, prin reunirea în cadrul workshop-
ului special organizat, al președinților comisiilor etice
universitare și a consilierilor juridici din universități,
în prezența reprezentanților CEMU și CNECSTDI, ne
dorim să se identifice soluțiile necesare pentru
armonizarea cadrului legislativ național în domeniu.
Evenimentele speciale asociate acestei conferințe, și
anume prezentarea și lansarea pentru consultare
publică, de către CEMU, a Codul național de referință
al eticii şi deontologiei universitare precum și
prezentarea și lansarea Revistei de etică și
deontologie sub egida editurii Pro Universitaria, vor
da un caracter profesional și științific aparte acestui
eveniment.
Conferința va fi găzduită de Universitatea Transilvania
din Brașov, în perioada 3-5 iunie 2021.

Each fee and registration cover one paper submission.

According to the number of submitted papers, the first author pays the conference fee.
Please be aware. The conference fee does not include accommodation and bank fees.
The fee includes the conference materials, welcome cocktail, one lunch and coffee breaks.

Paper Information: the paper is to be written in English or Romanian, with a length of 8-10 page,
including Bibliography; Times New Roman (TNR), Font 11, line spacing 1.5, page setup margins
A4 normal. The title will be written with TNR, Font 14, Bold, centerline; Author name will be
written with TNR, 12 Italic Align Text Right; Abstract (maximum 250 words) and keywords (3 to
5) will be written with TNR, 10 Justify.
The abstracts of articles in Romanian must be written in English and Romanian. The abstracts of
articles in English will be written only in English, and the organizing committee will ensure the
translation in Romanian. Citation and Bibliografy: APA style.

The papers will be double-blind peer review, and the accepted ones will be published in the
Journal of Ethics under the auspices of Universul Juridic publishing house, a specialized
publication BDI indexed and accredited by CNCSIS Romania.

We expect that participants will be representatives of Ministry of Education, Ministry of Research,

Innovation and Digitization, University Ethics and Management Council (CEMU), Romanian Ethics
Council of Scientific Research, Technology Development, and Innovation (CNECSTDI), University
Ethics Committee or a university legal advisor.
