Dragi colegi,

Asa cum deja stiti, in aceasta perioada s-a desfasurat procesul de migrare a utilizatorilor
CEZ de la clientul de email existent (Lotus Notes) la noul client de email (Microsoft
Outlook). Ca pas urmator, in intervalul 28-30 octombrie, Directia ICT va efectua
migrarea la noul sistem de mesagerie electronica Exchange/Microsoft Outlook.

Astfel, incepand de vineri, 28 octombrie, ora 18:00, mesajele primite din afara
organizatiei nu vor mai ajunge in Lotus Notes, ci direct in Microsoft Outlook. In ceea
ce priveste comunicarea intre adresele de email interne, aceasta va fi in continuare posibila
prin intermediul Lotus Notes, pentru o perioada limitata. Vom reveni in timp util cu data
finala de la care clientul Lotus Notes va deveni indisponibil.

Pentru o tranzitie cat mai eficienta la noul client de email, va recomandam ca, incepand de
luni, 31 octombrie, sa folositi doar Microsoft Outlook pentru orice schimb de email-
uri.

Important: Incepand cu data de 1 noiembrie, orice rezervare pentru salile de sedinta din
sediile companiei se va face din Microsoft Outlook (conform detaliilor din ghidurile atasate
acestui newsletter). In cazul in care aveti sali de sedinta rezervate dupa data de 1
noiembrie, este necesar sa refaceti aceste rezervari din Outlook.

Mai jos va transmitem cateva link-uri utile privind functionalitatile uzuale ale clientului
Microsoft Outlook. Va recomandam sa consultati aceste materiale pentru a va familiariza cu
experienta noului client de email.

De asemenea, in completarea acestui newsletter veti putea regasi cateva ghiduri de utlizare
pentru urmatoarele actiuni: instalare email pe telefonul mobil Android/Apple, rezervare
sali sedinta, import calendar Lotus Notes in Microsoft Outlook.

In cazul in care intimpinati dificultati sau aveti nelamuriri tehnice, va reamintim ca suntem

Dear colleagues,

As you already know, during this period the migration process of CEZ users from the
existing email client (Lotus Notes) to the new email client (Microsoft Outlook) was
performed. As a next step, the ICT Direction will perform the migration to the new
Exchange/Microsoft Outlook email system during 28-30 October.

Therefore, starting Friday, 28 October, from 18:00, messages received from outside
the organisation will no longer arrive in Lotus Notes, but directly in Microsoft
Outlook. As far as communication between internal email addresses is concerned, this will
still be possible via Lotus Notes, for a limited period. We will come back in due time with the
final date from which the Lotus Notes client will become unavailable.

For an efficient transition to the new email client, we recommend that from Monday, 31
October, to only use Microsoft Outlook for all email exchanges.

Important: As of 1st November, any reservations for meeting rooms at company offices will
be made from Microsoft Outlook (as detailed in the guides attached to this newsletter). If
you have meeting rooms booked after 1st November, you will need to re-book them from
Outlook.
