Descrierea cursului
Acest curs, organizat n mare parte ca un seminar este o abordare general a problematicii
istorice central europene n perioada medieval i modern timpurie. Scopul cursului este s
familiarizeze studenii cu dezvoltarea instituional i cultural specific acestei regiuni, ce
poate fi neleas drept o cale alternativ spre modernitate fa de cea oferit de Europa
occidental i paradigma construirii statului modern. n acelai timp cursul i propune s
dezvolte abiliti de analiz i comunicare oral i scris. Relevana contemporan a cursului
poate fi plasat n contextul conturrii unei identiti regionale. Cursul face parte din syllabusul programului de masterat Societate, art, identiti n Europa central. De la medieval la
modernitate. El se nscrie ntre cursurile fundamentale ale acestui program i i propune o
introducere n istoria acestei regiuni.
Cerine
Discuia din cadrul seminarului va avea drept subiect un studiu din bibliografia obligatorie i/
sau documente. Pe parcursul fiecrei ntlniri se va discuta un nou tip de document i un nou
concept, alturi de o modalitate specific de abordare a mrturiei alese. Un exerciiu continuu
pe parcursul seminarului va fi deprinderea unor aptitudini de analiz i comunicare. Abilitile
analitice vor fi dezvoltate prin lectura critic a articolelor i capitolelor din bibliografia
obligatorie, precum i prin analiza unor documente i a unor imagini. Abilitile de
comunicare vor fi dezvoltate att prin prezentarea oral a unor argumente ct i prin
redactarea unor texte cu un anumit specific (recenzia, prezentarea pentru conferin, eseul).
Capacitatea de sintez va fi exersat prin structurarea unei cercetri, de la alegerea subiectului
i stabilirea unor ntrebri de cercetare, stabilirea unui scop, argumentarea relevanei
subiectului ales prin raportare la literatura existent, identificarea surselor primare, alegerea
unor metode de lucru, analiza unui document i pn la structurarea unui argument.
Evaluarea:
Cursul i seminarul vor fi evaluate continuu. Prezena este obligatorie i studenii vor fi
evaluai n funcie de participarea activ la discuii, analizele fcute n cadrul seminarului i
clarificarea conceptelor propuse (1/3 din nota final). 1/3 din not va fi reprezentat de
evaluarea dosarului de cercetare. Nota final va fi rezultatul evalurii continue, a dosarului de
cercetare i a unui examen oral care va reprezenta 1/3 din nota final. Examenul oral se va
desfura pe baza bibliografiei obligatorii. Studenii vor putea folosi n timpul examenului
fiele de lectur acumulate n timpul semestrului i au obligaia s prezinte aceste fie
ntocmite n conformitate cu grila de lectur discutat n timpul seminariilor.
