Ce este plagiatul?
Preluarea cuvintelor sau ideilor unei persoane şi prezentarea lor ca şi
creaţie proprie este cunoscută sub denumirea de plagiat.

În documentul de mai jos găsiţi un pasaj dintr-o publicație științifică și de asemenea

încercările unor studenţi de a parafraza pasajul. Vă rugăm să indicați, pentru fiecare
încercare de parafrazare în parte, dacă consideraţi sau nu că reprezintă plagierea pasajului
inițial. Rezultatul vă va ajuta să stabiliți dacă riscaţi comiterea plagiatului în timp ce încercaţi
să parafrazaţi o sursă. Pasajul de mai jos este preluat din Rang HP, Dale M şi Ritter JP,
Pharmacology (4th edition, 1999).

understates the ongoing threat posed by microbial infection. It is estimated, for example,
that worldwide there were over 8 million cases of tuberculosis in 1998 (WHO, 2000).
