Rezumat: Dezvoltarea pedagogiei ca ştiinţă a fost condiţionată din totdeauna, dar mai cu seamă în ultimul
secol, de cercetarea pedagogică. În genere, cercetarea ştiinţifică pedagogică se plasează la originea îmbogăţirii
conţinuturilor teoretice explicative şi predictive ale acestei ramuri a cunoaşterii, a găsirii unor noi metode şi
procedee de predare – învăţate,evaluare, a perfecţionării practicii educaţionale corespunzător exigenţelor
societăţii contemporane, a creşterii eficienţei managementului şcolar, a proiectării şi realizării practice a
reformei în învăţământ.

Abstract:The article contains a study on pedagogical research that has made an important, innovative
contribution to the development of pedagogy as a science, to the discovery and elaboration of the laws of
education, functions, sides and contents of education, and to the elaboration of strategies required for
development. , modernization and continuous improvement of education and training. Pedagogical research is
an essential dynamizing factor of the continuous revolutionary transformation of education and teaching.
