Dacismul îsi face simţită
prezenţa odată cu interesul
romanticilor pentru etnogeneza
şi pentru mitologia din spaţiul
traco-dac.
Se conturează ca un curent de idei, mai mult sau mai
puţin unitar, mai ales în perioada interbelică, de multe
ori fiind asimilat cu orientarea tradiţionalistă.

generaţia cronicarilor – Grigore Ureche, Miron
Costin, Ion Neculce, apoi de stolnicul Constantin
Cantacuzino şi de Dimitrie Cantemir.
◈ Atinge apogeul prin reprezentanţii “Şcolii
Ardelene”, Samuil Micu, Gheorghe Şincai, Petru
Maior.

◈ O primă etapă a formării limbii române o
constituie procesul de romanizare a geto-dacilor.
◈ Din limba geto-dacilor după diferite opinii s-au
păstrat în cea română 170-180 de cuvinte.
◈ Ca urmare, aceştia au preluat treptat limba latină
vorbită.

◈ Sub impactul migraţiei slavilor,
romanitatea nord şi sud-dunăreană este
divizată.
◈ se formează dialectul daco-român (nord-
dunărean) şi dialectele sud-dunărene
(aromân sau macedo-român, megleno-
român şi istro-român).
 Românii de la bun început s-au
numit romani, denumire care a
evoluat în rumâni, apoi români. Ei
şi-au păstrat permanent conştiinţa
originii lor romane.
