Na+ este responsabil în principal de determinarea conductivitãtii fluid din corp. Deoarece
schimbarea este concentrația de Na+ în fluidul corpului în timpul dializei artificiale este

echilibrul osmotic dintre interstițial iar regiunile fluide intracelulare se descompun.

Teoria descrisă aici este dezvoltată în baza ipotezelor din Secțiunea 2.3. Prin urmare,
este foarte important să comparăm valoarea estimată a Vr calculată din (40) cu măsurarea
cantitatea de apă eliminată Vr. Dacă valoarea estimată a Vr este egală valoarea măsurată a
