EDUCATIONAL MODELS ADAPTATED TO GIFTED CHILDREN MODELE EDUCATIVE ADAPTATE COPIILOR SUPRADOTAI __________________________________________________________
Abstract: Gifted children manifest themseves through attitudes, dispositions and habits that turn to account their open mind, objectivity, impartiality. They commonly practice metacognition, analyzing their own thinking process. The intelectual training that must lie at the basis of any activity/lesson requires planning, problem solving, strategic decision, recommendation of methodologies, communication and use of others experience in a critical manner. Orientation of learning must be achieved on the basis of analysis of the educational optimum and its planning for the future. Gifted children are driven by a special curiosity, they are eager to understand the waythe whole universe operates, being capable of imagining improvements or reforms, of producing socially useful values. Caracteristici ale procesului instructiv-educativ cu copiii supradotai Orice copil supradotat identificat de prini sau de coal trebuie s beneficieze de programe educaionale care s le favorizeze dezvoltarea potenialului nativ, astfel nct s accead la performane, care s fie convertite n final n competene cu impact social. Complexitatea personalitii supradotailor determin o gndire serioas n privina elaborrii i implementrii programelor instructiv-educative. Copiii supradotai dezvolt capaciti de nvare diferite de a celorlali copii, bazate pe modele de gndire specifice: gndirea critic ce evalueaz ideile i argumentele n mod creativ; construcia de modele ce d un sens logic lumii i care pot fi utilizate n practic; construcia de argumente logice care permit validarea sau respingerea unor concepte;
