 I. ARGUMENT
La nivelul clasei a a V-a si a VI-a, elevii nu s-au desprins încă de universul
copilăriei, univers caracterizat cel mai bine prin nevoia de joacă şi prin poveştile care îi
încântă pe toţi. Majoritatea copiilor sunt familiarizaţi deja cu aceste minunate basme pe
care le cunoaştem cu toţii. Prin aceasta activitate opţională, ne propunem să le prezentăm
elevilor poveştile cunoscute într-o altă formă, în limba engleză, şi să le facem cunoştinţă cu
alte poveşti necunoscute de ei, specifice spaţiului anglo-saxon.
Faptul că ei cunosc deja poveştile facilitează accesul începătorilor în limba engleză
accesul la ele, transferând doar aceste cunoştinţe în limba străină.

II. COMPETENTE GENERALE:

- să-şi îmbogăţească vocabularul cu numeroşi termeni în limba engleză pe care nu i-ar
întâlni în cadrul orelor de curs;
- să familiarizeze elevii cu structuri gramaticale pe care urmează să le studieze sistematic
în cadrul leciilor din manual;
- să stimuleze capacitatea de exprimare orală a elevilor;
- să familiarizeze elevii cu activităţile de redare, rezumare şi extragere a ideilor principale
din textele studiate;
- să îmbunătăţească abilităţi de traducere şi retroversiune din textele studiate;
- să cunoască şi să-şi perfecţioneze topica limbii engleze literare şi uzuale.

III. ACTIVITĂŢI DE ÎNVĂŢARE:

 Prezentări orale şi scrise pe teme date;
 Audiţii muzicale;
 Exerciţii de redactare după un plan dat;
 Extragerea ideilor esenţiale dintr-un text în vederea elaborării de de enunţuri
concise şi relevante;
 Exerciţii de alegere multiplă, de tipul adevărat/ fals;
 Exerciţii de ordonare

 Cărţi de poveşti;
 Suport audio;
 Suport video;
 Dicţionar englez – român, român – englez;
 Fise de lucru.

V. MODALITĂŢI DE EVALUARE
 Probe scrise;
 Probe orale ( întrebări/ răspunsuri/ chestionare pe marginea textelor studiate);
 Teste grilă;
 Observare sistematică.
