Scopul lecției este de a exersa vocabularul referitor la activitãţi de recreere şi prezentul simplu.

Competențe specifice:
1.1. Identificarea sensului global al unor mesaje și dialoguri uzuale, clar articulate
1.2. Identificarea semnificaţiei unor schimburi verbale uzuale și clar articulate, în situaţia în care
interlocutorul oferă ajutor pentru a facilita înţelegerea
3.2. Extragerea informaţiilor dintr-un text scurt, însoţit de ilustraţii
4.1. Redactarea de mesaje simple și scurte
4.2. Descrierea unor aspecte ale vieţii cotidiene (oameni, locuri, școală, familie, hobby-uri),
folosind propoziţii scurte

AIMS
By the end of the lesson the pupils will be able to:
- identify and name and describe clothes
- adequately use the affirmative of Present Simple;
- adequately use fixed formulas and expressions to describe clothes;
- practice vocabulary related to the topic in sentences of their own

PROCEDURE

ACTIVITY 1: Warm-up
Aim:
-to create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere
Procedure:
1. Introductory questions (How are you today?)
2. Check the attendance
3. Check the homework

Timing: 5 min

Activity 2. Lead-In
Aims:
to recycle and practice the vocabulary related to free-time activities
Timing: 5 minutes
Procedure:
Procedure: the T asks Ss to play a matching game where a student from each group go out to
the computer and match the word with the pictures while the rest of the ss write the expressions
in their notebook. The group has to guess the free-time activity before it is written by their
classmate
Interaction: T – Ss; Ss – Ss, Whole class
Timing: 5min

Activity 3: Listening Activity


Aims:
- to recicle the free-time activities related vocabulary and present simple
Timing: 10 minutes
Procedure:
The T asks Ss to listen to the song and to remenber as many free time activities as they can from
the song. They make a spider web with the activities and using anoter colour they complete the
web with other familiar words.
The T asks a S from each group wich is their favorite activity from the song and after that they
transform the sentences into interogative and negative form and write the formulas on the
blackboard.

Activity 4. Remember and practice


Aims:
-to use all the forms of the Present simple tense and vocabulary related to free-time activities.
Timing: 12 minutes
Procedure:
The T gives Ss a worksheet where they have complete the correct form of the verb in Present
Simple.

Activity 5.Describing and speaking


Aims:
-to give pupils confidence in their ability to use the English language.
Timing: 13 minutes
Procedure: T projects two similar immages and the teams have to identify the differences and
discuss them. A member from each team presents a difference and writes the sentence on the
blackboard.If the sentence is correct they recive 1 point if not the point goes to the team which
corrects the sentence. The winner of the contest is the team with the most points.
Extra activity: The teacher announces they will play the game ’How well you know me”.The
group discusses about things they like and don’t like to do in their free time and after that a
delegate from each team describes a person and the members have to guess his/her name. They
each take turns in speaking. If neccesary the teammates help the orator.

Activity 6.Evaluation and homework

Aims:
-to evaluate SS work
-to give SS homework
Timing: 5 minutes
Procedure:Teacher grades SS and gives additional explanations if neccesary.
Homework:-To make a short poster describing things they like and things thy don’t like to do in
their free time.
